As a furniture restorer and repairer, a farmer, and a guy who is remodeling his house, Home Depot is my closest ally! I usually find what I need. They're pet friendly, which makes my German Shepherds happy. In all truthfulness, I worry more about my wife shopping here, than at some boutique clothing store! Thanks for being there.. Everywhere!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE. Worse riding lawnmower purchase experience ever, so I’m new Home owner and I was in need of a new riding tractor so I went to my closest Home Depot and everything was fine until after I purchased the mower, I’m told the computer says there isn’t any mowers available even though the sku number I grabbed was from a mower that was chained up in the front of the store. So I agree and say I’ll pick it up on Saturday since the computer said that’s wen it would be ready, two days pass and I get a call saying they tested mower and it wouldn’t start and was missing pieces even though before I paid I asked if since it was a refurbished mower if it would in fact work etc and I was told yes because if not they wouldn’t have the mower on the floor, so that confused me so then I was refunded the money I paid. Upon returning to store few days later to pick a new mower, I found new one and state before I retrieve mower I’d like if they run mower to make sure it’s in functional state so as to not run into same issue, then wen I return to store to pick up mower on Saturday I’m told the store has no keys for any of the mowers they have on the floor except the John Deere’s ! I laughed and so how does a store sell mowers with no keys?!? Upon getting a universal key that looked old and rusted so I can turn mower on, the engine sounded like garbage and barely ran, so after speaking to manager and asking if they had keys for the JD mowers I finally got problem resolved and compensated with some money off the purchase. I ended up paying a little more for John Deer even though they didn’t have anything ready for my pick up supposedly arranged DAYS ago. I should have got the other mower for the same price I spent, ESPECIALLY because both of my purchases were such a hassle. If I wouldn’t have arranged a truck and trailer with a friend I would have backed out of my purchase and went to another store. But wow this was indeed the last time I’ll ever return to this store to make a purchase of any kind. And I’d advise anyone to stay away from this short staffed store. The manager was uninterested in what I had to say. I felt unvalued as a customer buying an expensive piece of equipment.
