  The only more difficult utility service that I've had to deal with is Washington Gas. WSSC makes it exquisitely difficult to stop service. Online requests, multiple phone calls (each with 40min hold times), promises, bills that don't get mentioned.. Once you move, they're likely to bill you $199 for 3 weeks of vacant property. Until they redo meter reading and then never send you the final bill.

  Found that I had a water leak because the water company held my bill for two billing periods. Took a manager that long to review my account. After their so called bill adjustment still had a large bill. No that I am trying to get it caught up, I was told that I can not make more than three payments in a 30 day period with a debit card. Let's not forget they are charging me to use my debit card. Now I have wait 20 days to make my next payment. What a way to set up your customers for failure!

  My parents keep getting calls from this number saying they owed them a bill or something. Excuse me!!! My parents live in an apartment where water is included in the utilities and they don’t even live in Maryland. I don’t even know how they got my parent’s number. I even called them on why they keep calling and just now my parents received another call. They just ignored it because they are fed up with it.
