We had a drain that wasn't draining at all from multiple locations in the house. As well as gurgling drains. I called Shelby Mechanical first thing in the morning and they came out that same day. The Tech was very professional and made short work of the situation. There was a blockage between the house and the septic tank. Was greatful for their quick response.
I would recommend this company. I didn't shop around since they had so many positive reviews, so I don't know how their prices compared to their competitions. However, I thought I paid what I was anticipating. I felt the price was fair.

Replaced copper gas line to dryer that had a leak with up to code flexible line. Efficient, informative, timely service. Fair price. Cleaned up and left everything better than when they arrived. Will use them again for any future needs.

We had a gas leak in a pipe in which we had the gas company come out and shut off as it was leaking has fumes into the house. The technician was professional, provided a price up front of costs, whereas many companies get the work done and surprise you with the cost at the end. Very pleased with the workmanship provided from this company. I will use them again should it ever be necessary.

This is by far the best experience I've had with any company. Great prices, and they were able to come out right away and give a free estimate. The clean up after the work was finished was very neatly done as well. They will get all my business should I need them in the future.

This is the first time we have acquired the services of Shelby Mechanical.  My selection was based on the positive online reviews and quality of products offered.  So far, it seems their reputation is well earned.  Everyone we dealt with was very professional, courteous, and prompt,  We also appreciate that when the installers unboxed the new water heater and noticed the unit was damaged on the outside, they brought it to our attention and made a special trip to the warehouse to bring a new replacement.  That in itself spoke to the integrity of the company and employees.

Shelby Mechanical was extremely responsive and patient with all my questions. They came to my house to assess at no cost and I elected to hydrojet my sewer line to clear roots. Unfortunately it turned out there was a collapse in the line and due to the depth of the city main they could not offer a service to replace the line. In light of that, they charged only a small fraction of the hydrojet cost because they "we're not able to finish the work" due to the broken pipe (completely outside of their control). I sincerely appreciate their openness, communication, and consideration. It cannot have cost them any less to come out and jet 60ft of my line than if they could have gone the whole 80ish ft but they still made accommodations for the circumstances. Had they been able to perform the repairs, I was told they would have credited some of my jet cost toward the pricier fix. Really high quality experience. I recommended them to my friend and she had a similar excellent experience. Pricing is fair but on the higher end. You definitely get what you pay for, though, and the service was top notch!

Best buy claimed they couldn't install new washer due to rusted pipe. For minimum service call fee, these guys installed the washer. Amazing service! Would hire these guys again.

I had this company come out on a recommendation. My sewer line was backed up. They came out and used their Hydrojet and put in a clean out. They said I was good to go. Yay! Unfortunately, I had a backup 5 months later in my newly remodeled bathroom. They came out (as it was under warranty) and cleaned it out again. They then told me I would need even more work done, starting with digging a trench in my backyard for $3k. Nothing was said about any of this when the original work was done. Do not used his company unless you have money to burn. Over a year after they did work for me, I have the same issues. So very, very dissapointed.

A sewer line should never back up, if it does there is something wrong with it and needs to be repaired. The technicians followed the proper procedures by snaking out your sewer main first and your house on a crawl space needed a clean out installed outside so we are not dragging a high pressure water line through the home to properly clean out your sewer main. If we did a poor job opening your sewer main it would have plugged back up immediately, not 5 months later, you will continue to have backups until you replace or repair your sewer main. In the future, please don't wait 15 months to post a poor review just give us a call and we will come back out and work together to resolve your issues. I have been in business for over 30 years and we carry a 4.9 Google Rating and A+ BBB rating and you get those ratings by making sure your customers are satisfied.

Overall it was ok. A couple of items they did not do quite right and I really wanted the technician to tell me. (1) while moving the old water heater from basement damaged dry wall in couple of areas and (2) relatively serious - I observed the technician turned on the gas and light up before turning the water on. When he heard some minor cracking noise, he immediately tried to shut off the furnace. I hope no serious damage happened inside the tank. Tendency to hide mistake - not quite happy for the 2nd item.
