I called at 11:36AM and Nathan showed up at 1PM. He's a very nice fella and knocked out our clogged drain line to get us back in service quickly and efficiently. First time I've had to call a plumber out but I feel the price was very reasonable and worth the service provided. Hopefully I won't need "on the spot" plumbing services again, but if I do, I know who I'll be calling! Thanks Nathan. Top notch!

I had previously used a well known plumbing company but they recently went to commercial only service. I called Robert Brown and they were very nice and cordial on the phone and had someone come out in a timely manner. I had a problem with a certain faucet that other plumbers were not able to fix. The two technicians they sent out, Robby and Jimmy, were determined to find a way to repair this faucet. They stayed after it and even called the local distributor for schematics. Their persistence paid off and they fixed something that had been unfixable. I have found a new plumbing company for all my future needs. Thanks.

Wow where to begin. First off be very cautious with this business! My hot water heaters needed replaced so I'm quickly calling around for pricing. This was by far the highest quote, by more than $6000 to do the same work that multiple other companies charged way less. Not sure if their quality of work is just that much better (highly doubt it since they would only drain and not haul away the old tanks) or if this company just wanted to take advantage of the situation. Either way being quoted close to $9k to replace 2 water heaters in an easily accessible attic is insane!! Be cautious, do your due diligence and shop around. This company should be embarrassed. * * ** Response to the company reply*** I appreciate the response and your acknowledgement for the excessive charges. What's unsettling is that none of this was discussed when Robert did a site visit. All I requested was two hot water tank replacements. He made no mention of copper needing replaced down to the 3/4, in fact 3 other companies acknowledged that the copper was completely fine. Later on I welcomed a discussion with Robert regarding what he seen that multiple other professionals may have missed but no response...that's horrible customer service. Additionally, something that you left out of your reply was the extra line item that said if the copper in the wall is deemed bad it'd have to be ripped out and replaced with no responsibility for your company to replace dry wall... For what reason would it be suspected that copper would deteriorate and need my walls ripped apart except for the company to lay the ground work for making this an even more costly job, that is despicable. Furthermore, there are other irregularities with what you wrote and I wish I could upload the quote but unable to within this review. Regardless, I stand by my review and am simply writing it as awareness for others who may be subjected to inflated prices or shady practices by tricking customers to think they need to gut their entire home of perfectly fine piping. The work is now complete, covering everything that was quoted (minus gutting the copper from the walls that wasn't even quoted and would have been more) for a total of $6,890 LESS than what you quoted. That is something that cannot be justified no matter how the company will try to put it into words. I hope this real and transparent review helps the company find ethics and operate honesty as you can all do better. I also hope it helps other potential customers who are in an emergency situation know there are more than likely better options and to shop around.

Mr. Smith: Thank you for the feedback and I agree, over $8000 to just replace two heaters sounds excessive so I pulled the emailed estimate. This quote was for more than just simply replacing two heaters. The estimate was to: 1) Drain and Remove Two Water heaters 2) Install (and supply) Two 50Gal gas water heaters 3) Install New Water Piping to where the copper piping went down into the wall 4) Install two new pans, install two new cut-offs, and manifold the water lines (so you can cut off one heater but still have hot water from one water heater) The quoted job alone was more time and labor intensive but it was also located in an attic which presents its own challenges and I believe Robert met with you to see this job in person and may have observed plumbing issues that needed correction. If you simply asked for a price to replace two heaters, over the phone, our price would have aligned more with the quotes from other companies. While I am not privy to the discussion you had with Robert, or the plumbing issues he may have seen; simply looking at this estimate, the job discussed appears to be more than a simple drain and swap; hence the higher price. If the reasoning for the quote was not properly conveyed, we sincerely apologize. Heather Brown Business Administrator Robert Brown Plumbing, LLC LMP 1548
