We used this company one time for a few small projects, and had them provide quotes for a few things we want to add/change. However when I called back over the winter, there was no answer and I left a message. I've since called and left two more messages. No return phone call. We'd use them again if we just get that return phone call. Otherwise this would be 5 stars.

A cat named Nick came over from Olde Towne Plumbing when I called to have some shut-off valves replaced as part of the laundry tub / washing machine (original to the house). He realized that the main shutoff valve (to the house) would have to be replaced (because the old rotary valves, original to the house (circa 1955) are prone to failure after so many years). I wanted to have the main shutoff valves replaced (with new 1/4-turn types) as well as the laundry shutoff valves and faucet for the utility tub. In case you aren't aware, the old-style rotary shutoff valves have a nasty habit of failing, and if the MAIN shutoff valve to your house fails, brother...have you got problems (major water damage because only the city can turn off the water coming into a house). If your main shutoff valves are old, I'd think seriously about replacing them ASAP. Anyway, none of the work could be done unless the water was first turned off at the street (City of A2 function). The people at Olde Towne were super helpful, handling the scheduling with the City as well as the permit required. Today all of the work that I had requested on the initial call was expertly done (I'm familiar with plumbing as I grew up in a construction / real estate family) and in a reasonable amount of time. Nick's work was exceptional - a totally professional cat who made it all look easy. Long story short no less than seven things were addressed. What's also cool is that I had a few other things that I had been meaning to tackle myself, but I called the office to see if they could be added (the administrative assistant assured me that they could to the additional work); since they were going to be here anyway I asked them to be taken care of. As far as rating...9.5 / 10 (only because I never give a 10/10 rating) in terms of communication, price, honesty, quality of work. Absolutely delighted to have skilled tradespeople such as Nick dealing with such issues. A+. I now have peace of mind.

Olde Towne Plumbing have us a very reasonable quote to fix a plumbing stack issue, and they came back out to fix it in a reasonable amount of time as well. The fellow who have us the quote, the lady who ran the office and scheduling, and the plumbers who did the job were all friendly and professional, which goes a *long* way in my book. If we ever run into plumbing issues again we'll definitely give them a call, and we'd recommend them as well.
