  We had our hot water heater die on us during one of the snow storms this year - inconvenient at best. I think the date was 2.18.2021. It was 15 years old, so it had a good life. Just a week prior, our neighbors had the same issue and gave David McGoldrick a call. They were very happy with his service, so we gave him a call as well. For both my neighbor and myself, David was out to replace our water heaters within 24 hours, each time during a snow storm. We could not have been happier with the end result, professionalism, and his quality work. Our water heater died on 2.18, and by midday on 2.19 we had piping hot water again. In fact, while he was here, we had also gotten a ventless gas fireplace that needed to be hooked up, and David gave us a quote and let me know that this kind of work is usually scheduled a few weeks out and he would call me with options for times. He called back after the weekend and within about one week, we had our gas fireplace running. Work was completed in about an hour and again was done professionally with attention to detail. With the extra parts he needed to complete the work, the cost was higher than the estimate, but since he quoted me at a certain price, he stuck with the original quote even though his cost was higher. We were very appreciative. In a time when it is difficult to trust *some* people that perform services in your home (i.e. plumber, electrician, etc.) based on some of our past experiences, David will be our go-to plumber if we have any issues in our home. For anyone in the Havertown, PA area, call confidently.

  I highly recommend McGoldrick Plumbing & Heating. Their team just completed the plumbing portion of 2 bathroom renovations in my home and were great to work with- always honest & professional, never upselling, and high quality work. They have also performed repairs/replacements in my home over the years and have always done good work that has lasted.

  We just completed a massive, 8-month+ total renovation on a 100-year-old commercial building that involved dozens of workers in just about every trade. The guys from McGoldrick were the best subs on the whole project. After a “full gut” demo, the only remaining plumbing in the building was the water line inlet, the sewer line outlet and a drain to the street. Not only did Dave and his assistant Dan do an amazing job with our entire plumbing infrastructure – restroom, floor drain, water heater, sump pump, etc., etc. - they were punctual, reliable, professional, and pleasant. Dave was quick to reply to my (somewhat incessant) calls and emails, and made a couple unplanned emergency visits on short notice (those few remaining bits of original plumbing? Yeah, they needed attention too…). He was also extremely helpful in choosing the right equipment and fixtures and was very clear and detailed regarding project costs; McGoldrick’s pricing was very competitive too. Maybe most important for my “detail oriented” self (read: OCD), Dave and Dan did meticulous work, kept their work areas clean, and left the place spotless when they were done each day. McGoldrick Plumbing & Heating’s service is second to none. Their pricing is fair and transparent, and the quality of work is top notch. We will definitely be using them for all of our future plumbing work, both in our commercial spaces and our home.
