  Outsourced carpet company through Home Depot is horrible to depend on. You have to be in-home when they install, which makes sense. They did not show up to their scheduled appointment to install our carpet, but called me the day of that they were unable to come. Instead of finding a time that works for me after canceling, they did not care and gave me their first available apppintment. Keep in mind I already paid the full price for carpet in 3 bedrooms... this was weeks ago! My house is a disaster because all the furniture was moved out and carpet already ripped up prior to their scheduled appointment that they did not show up to. I would go somewhere else for carpet services. Home Depot needs more dependable carpet installers... I paid Home Depot directly. Their outsourced company reflects directly on Home Depot.

  Usually friendly staff with good selection. Prices generally higher than elsewhere, but will beat the advertised competitor price of any exact product by 10%. Went through their carpet department for carpet selection and installation for our previous house, and they handled everything well. They outsource the job, and although the installers didn't quite have that shiny customer image, they were nice and did a really good job.

  Had HD put new windows and patio door in my house. The sub contracted crew did a great job, however so many issues with the product supplied and the poor service that we received from pretty much any member of Home Depot. I suggest you pass on Home Depot.
