  Nick of Associated Mechanical was great to work with. He worked hard to find the cause of our water heater failure and to find the repair part (overnighted)to get us up and running again. Associated Mechanical is my go to company for my heavy mechanical repair needs.

  Horrible service and dishonest billing- first, they are horrible at communication-I had the hardest time getting them to reply to emails, text messages, and even return my calls. After they "said" they came out to look at my AC unit, and even told us that they were checking on a few different AC units in the building, they charged us over $300 just to tell us that our AC was broken and needed repairs. From there, it took them about a week to even come out and fix it after they finally sent me a quote for what was wrong with the unit.... The quote was for just under $2,000- outlining parts and 6 hours of work- the technician finished in about 4 hours, but they still charged me for 6 hours of work.... Overall, almost everyone we talked with, except for the technician was rude and really didn't have a sense of what customer service is. I knew I shouldn't have used their company since they didn't have any great reviews, but unfortunately our building recommended them since they have done contract work for them in the past. So, we "thought" it was a good idea to go with their recommendation. Mistakes happen, unfortunately for us, but I do not recommend anyone to use Associated Mechanical Contractors, Inc- for any contract work due to their inability to provide good service, or honest billing.

  Slow and non communicative. They are unresponsive and are still Installing as I review them. I will update and possibly change this rating. Why it's taken over 2 months to remove and install 2 large HVAC units is beyond me! Reed and his team were unhappy with residents complaining it was taking twice as long as promised that he called the police on us! Nice! I understand it's not completely their fault, but ZERO COMMUNICATION AND THREATS NEVER WORK!
