Had a pool leak(s) and called American and they were booked but tried and did get us in quickly. The service men did everything I was told and patched the leak. Would use them again.

The person in the office that schedules for this business is extremely rude and unprofessional. They sent someone out to my home in the past. He was great and was able to locate one of the leaks and repair it. When a new leak appeared I called to schedule and she was so rude that I would not use them again.

Wonderful  service! They showed up in time. Did good work and were super honest. They didn’t try to take money from us. I am super happy with them and will definitely get back to them once we are ready for the big job. I’m so thankful that they didn’t try to sell us a huge project. They actually fixed the problem while they were here. So we have enough time to save up for the bigger project (we honestly thought that we had to get it done now but we are so thankful that they could fix our leaking pool for now). I totally recommend them and will get back to them very soon! Honest and good workers! Couldn’t ask for a better service!

I agree with Ruthann Blake. Called a plumber after being alerted by water dept. of excess usage. Plumber referred me to this business. Brett Hill found a leak outside the house; assured us that was our only problem. That was 325.00. Called plumber back, who repaired the problem, and said we have an additional leak inside the house, according to meter readings. Brett Hill had found nothing inside the house. This was all in a matter of a few days. Called American again, but was refused service unless I paid an additional 150.00.  Office personnel said this was spelled out on work authorization. Invoice says "ALL leak location and detection work is guaranteed for 30 days from date of completion." American here May 5. Asked for return inspection May 7. Lesson learned. Beware.

We made an appointment with them almost two months ago to find a leak in our pool.  They have asked to reschedule last week but we have our own business and cannot have someone there but have cleared the day of our appointment.  Called again today and told us they could be out today (the 3rd) when our appointment was the 9th.  When we said that we wished to keep our original appointment, the lady said "oh geeze" and then said that if our pool was only losing an inch of water a day that they probably couldn't find the leak anyway.  They sure didn't tell us this when we originally make the appointment and were going to take our money when they knew they couldn't find the leak.
