  Today was a so much better experience then what happened back in September. In September the technicians were a total train wreck. After spending a lot of money to put in a cabinet and a UV light on our furnace last time, the technician left around 11 a.m. but forgot to flip the switch on in the Attic. I am a lung patient and I'm on oxygen from time to time and I had to sit in the heat for 8 hours until they could get someone over here to find out what happened. I was very skeptical when it was time for a checkup on our air conditioning system. This morning I was told to separate times that a technician was on the way, only to be disappointed. Until... Scott Spears came to service our system. He was very professional, kind, knowledgeable, attention to detail, great communication skills, and a compassion for his clients. Scott is a great asset to Village Plumbing and Air. I wish all of the employees at Village plumbing and air had the same attitude and work ethic. My husband and I are very impressed buy him will, and will only allow Scott to perform our services here on out. Hopefully he never quits.

  My technician Jimmie was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He quickly assessed the issue, went through my options with me and got to work. He was very thorough and answered all my questions. He showed me some helpful hints about my plumbing in some bathrooms that aren't being used that I did not know. Everything went very smoothly. I am so impressed with Jimmie that I am going to explore upgrading my toilets with Village Plumbing even though I was originally going to go with another company If the other technician is as skilled as Jimmie it will be another smooth transaction. Thanks Village Plumbing for employing such a great young man.

  Scott Spears provided an annual heating/plumbing checkup. The heating system passed its safety inspection perfectly. When Scott checked the outside AC unit he discovered a bad MED capacitor - replacement cost $359.00. (Part price on Amazon - $5-$99) He replaced the capacitor (10 minutes), but never turned on the AC unit to test it to see if everything was still working. It had been working before the capacitor was replaced so when the weather warms up and the AC is needed I am hoping for a working AC. Otherwise he did a good job, was courteous and professional. I will request him as my technician when the AC maintenance is due. My biggest complaint besides the very high prices Village Plumbing charges is their scheduling. They are unable to give you an appointment time (or even tell you if it will be morning or afternoon) so you have to wait until they call you 30 minutes before coming. (Brings back memories of old CABLE TV scheduling nightmares). Once the technician is on the way there is then a phone call, and a text message, and finally an email, to inform you! When the job is done, everything is handled via computer tablet the technician carries and invoices, receipts are sent via email. Finally feedback is requested, and if not provided quickly, reminders are sent often. YELP average rating is 2.5. BBB average rating is 1.86.
