As others have said, absolute scammers. My furnace fan broke. They came though my home warranty. He said he can't fix it, its not covered under home warranty , and started to try up-sell me a new system. I didn't realize he shut it off completely. I said I am not interested in buying new HVAC system. So he left. I didn't realize he shut off the system completely till later. I called him and asked him to turn it back on. He said he wasn't going to  because its a liability. I got into an argument with him and eventually he came and turned it on again. I called back my Home warranty explained what happened and said, I don't want these people at my house ever again. Home warranty sent out Parish Services, they fixed the fan and the furnace had no more issue.

Unbelievable scammers. They work through AHS insurance and come out and disrespect homeowners. The guy says my pipe froze when it was 70 degrees outside. I had to pay for a diagnostic fee and they did absolutely nothing. Then another guy came, he says work would be covered, then he opened the wall and said it's not covered. Absolute thief's and scammers, with one of the worst services I've experienced with any company.

I had issues with my bathroom and kitchen faucet. The service person diagnosed the issue as higher than normal water pressure in the house.
After doing some research and contacting the faucet manufacturers, I found that his diagnose was incorrect. I contacted his manager and explained the issue. The manager did not disagree with me but said he cannot do anything unless I pay him to come and check everything again.

From my experience one of the benefits of AHS is they have always dispatched outstanding technicians who have resolved issues around my home quickly and completely. This case was no exception.
Mike from United Air Temp showed up on time. He was clean, professional, thorough, and wearing a mask.

The problem he came to fix was that my AC wasn’t coming on. When he arrived it came on immediately. Undaunted he opened the inside unit and found it was a bit damp. Since that might have been caused by a clogged drain line, he vacuumed them. He noticed there was some rust on the capacitor, so he replaced it too.

At that point I figured he fixed everything he might have, especially since the AC was now working fine. He decided to wait another 15 minutes just to be sure. Good thing too because that’s when the motor started to seize.  Without skipping a beat, he also swapped the motor for a new one.

I continue to be a fan of AHS and the technicians they provide. So far, they live up to my expectation of having working appliances for what is covered under the contract.  This is a far cry from my dealings with Select Home Warranty where if a repair cost was more than their surprisingly nominal depreciated value for the equipment all they would offer was a check for that amount.

As for this experience with United Air Temp, I plan on calling them for services not covered by AHS such as seasonal equipment checks and recommending them to my friends and neighbors.

Even 1 - Star is too good for this company.
So, I paid $69 for a basic cleaning service, the technician convinced me to purchase $165 for a capacitor, assuring me it will help in starting the AC compressor.
That evening AC stopped working.  Hmmm.  Called the "vendor", they recommended another company, as United Air Temp isn't certified to service these systems.
The other company's technician took one look and stated "This is an AC 101 issue".  5 minutes later - AC fixed.  No problems.  He also stated that the capacitor will help in starting the system but wasn't required, as the AC unit @ 9 years is in great shape.
So, I contact United Air Temp supervisor asking for my $69 (not even for the $165 for the capacitor).
He refused, we argued a bit.
Long story short, I will take my business elsewhere, I suggest you do too.
These guys don't deserve your money.
Just FYI - take a look at TwinAir.  These guys are out of Manassas.   Just look at their reviews.  They know what their doing.  Only problem with them is they charge a few bucks more.
