  Universal saved my kitchen and bathroom project after I dealt with hiccups with other contractors. Ray has been very nice and helpful, and anyone who has come by here to do work have been very professional. I had used them three times! And I would definitely call them again.

  Adam and John from Ultimate Drain were excellent. I cannot say enough great things about them. They worked hard to correct the problem. American Water Resources who you buy the insurance from should be ashamed of their answering people when you have to call up for reporting the problem so you can use the insurance you pay for. American water was horrendous. But at least Ultimate Drain was excellent and on the ball!! 5 stars for sure.

  I had experience with these people through my protection plan with American Water. On both occasions, techs from this company would come in, and try to upsell their services outside of the American Water contract. First time they came in for a clog in the drain and they tried fear-tactic with statements like all your plumbing underneath the tub need to be changed and thaats whats causing the issue. They had no answer when I asked them if its such a big problem how come its been working without any problem for the past 7 years? He just said without changing those pipes, its not going to work. I told them I dont need their service and asked American Water to send another tech. They sent Ace Mechanical. Straight forward fix. They opened up the drain, ran the snake and cleaned up the clog. Its been working without any issue ever since. Second time, last week we had a leaking kitchen sink faucet which caused a mess under the sink cabinet. American Water sends Ultimate Drain guys. The tech comes in, looks at the problem, acknowledges the issue and goes out and get a replacement faucet. Then he says, this fix along is not going to work, you need to change the whole sink and its associated fixtures to address the problem. I told him to just replace the faucet and he wont agree. I said dont do it and get going. I went to Home Depot, got the faucet and replaced it. Took me couple of hours because of the rust on the underside of the faucet. Now no more leaks and problem solved. Though, this time the $50 I paid to American Water towards the deductible was a total waste. This is the way these guys operate. They pickup the work order, come to your home and under the assumption of a naive customer, they would try to scare into a bigger job. At least thats what my experience has been and thats not just once, but twice. Stay clear of these guys is what I would advise unless you really know plumbing stuff to call their bluff.
