  Set up an appointment to fix our toilet that was not filling up with water. They called back to finalize it, agreed on a time, but advised that York, the plumber would not be wearing a mask. I expressed concern since my wife is expecting and the delta variant is happening, so I asked if at least he was vaccinated, to which they responded they didnt have to tell me that. Totally understand privacy concerns, just couldnt hurt to ask being as how we are in a global pandemic and this person literally goes inside peoples houses all day and chooses not to wear a mask. Not trying to pry or be difficult I agreed to the appointment. Later York called, advised he would be there at the requested time, went over my toilet issue and mentioned the mask. I said "Yeah thats fine, a bit unfortunate but thats fine" to which he proceeded to rant about masks statistics and how 99% of his customers dont have a problem with it. I awkwardly moved the conversation along confirming the time again, to which he said I would have a $100 deductible (my home warranty), to which I agreed I would have it when he showed up, no worries. He then asked if it was by card or cash, to which I told him his company had advised when I set up the appointment I could pay by check, to which he went on another rant about how "Yeah, warranty companies are getting picky about deductibles not going through...." and then just let the conversation linger. I said that I would pay him when he got here and asked if there was anything else he needed. He grumbled something and said no, said he would be here at 5pm, and hung up. He never showed up. I called the company back, no answer, even though it was during their business hours. Called his cell phone back, no answer. Texted, no answer. Basically he was a no call no show. Edit: Later I was called back and advised that a job had "ran over" and thats why they had never came out. I was advised that they could not only not come out later that day, but not "anytime in the foreseeable future". I asked if they could reschedule even weeks out, to which I was advised that because they had other jobs lined up they could not reschedule, but if anything opened up they would "Keep us in mind". Overall, refused to wear a mask during a pandemic, gave a fuss about taking a check even though they can (it even said so on their voicemail), never showed up, and then said they couldnt reschedule me. Glad I took time off work to be given the runaround. Edit again: Just got an email from my warranty company that said "This company has advised that you've decided to go out of network for your repairs". No, we did not decide to go out of network, Toftyoy Plumbing did not show up and refused to reschedule. So not only is this company not doing their job, but they are reporting to your warranty company false information when they do not do your work.

  I have never met this potential customer Jesse Dillon. I have never been to Jesse Dillons house. I have never done any work for Jesse Dillon. I could not get through the phone conversation with Jesse Dillon without a sense of anger from him. I expect customers to act in a friendly way and I did not get that from Jesse Dillon. As Toftoy Plumbing LLC will decide whether to accept jobs and or not accept jobs for any reason we find. I will not be bullied by any customer about the mask wearing political scam this going on in our country today. I will not wear a mask at any time or any where. I will not live in fear.   York Toftoy is very professional, thorough, and extremely reasonable in cost. He knows his trade as well as anyone in the business and is meticulous in how he works. York reminds me of one who is performing a job as if he was doing the same task in his own home! I really appreciate that greatly. It's fantastic having the confidence of a job done correctly. I have no reason to ever hire any other plumber.

  Wow, That made me feel like I should be wearing a crown when I go on service calls. Ha ha. Well I don't think it's right and never have to charge customers extra when the job is somewhat easy for me like some companies. I have to get it right the first time. I'll guarantee that.
