  First off, I was a Suburban Propane customer as they installed the tank for the builder of our home and filled the tank initially in July 2021. However, after calling Surburban Propane weekly starting Jan 3rd, and sometimes multiple times weekly, to get them to come and fill the tank I finally gave now on Feb 7th. I always got the story, your delivery day is Wednesday and the driver will be there. Wednesday came and no truck. I would then call and I would not get why I didn't get a truck load but nobody ever came. After the ice days we just had, I called on Thursday Feb 3rd and was told a truck would be here on Saturday Feb 5 but maybe on Friday and the drivers were pulling double shifts. Well, Monday morning Feb 7th, I called The Propane Guy and spoke to the very nice person on the phone and she said I would get a delivery Tuesday Feb 8th. I was not sure, but I got a call from the driver mid day Tuesday stating he was 5 mins away and he showed up and filled the tank. Larry was a super guy, fast, friendly and I can tell that while he may own the business, if his office staff commits him to deliver propane, he does it with a smile. I can tell you that while I can't say that Suburban propane didn't install the tank correctly or not do the safety checks as well as return to hook up something that was not ready when the house finished. Suburban propane can't not deliver propane when they say they will. I even gave them five weeks to try to get it right. Shame on me for that. If you need propane, call The Propane Guy. I know Larry and his office staff are GREAT and figure his other crew are too. If I could have hugged him, I would have as he deserved it. So as a fellow Dad, I called back and asked his daughter to do that for me. Thanks

  We didn't realize my mothers tank was so low the day before this years icy blast and called at noon the day before and they are still dedicated enough to deliver propane at 28 degrees with icy conditions. They will have all our family buissnes.

  Larry, John, and Don just completed the installation of our new tank - great customer service, excellent follow up and communication, and the best pricing in the area. We had used another company on a lease (shame on us) for 20 years and needed a new tank - ours was toast and looked terrible - the only way they would swap it was to remove 3 oak trees and our fence - Larry and his team did it in 90 minutes without touching a tree or our fence. When you go the extra mile you hopefully get rewarded in return - do not go anywhere else until you speak to Larry.
