  Gentleman Plumber has been fantastic. The plumbers and the office staff are highly responsive and professional. They recently installed a back flow preventer and came up with several ideas to minimize disruption to my house and keep my costs reasonable. The job was competed on time, and the results better than expected. Happy to hire them anytime!

  I have to be honest with my review on The Gentleman Plumber. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly and the plumber arrived on time, however, that's where it ended. The plumber was able to fix our toilet, however, the toilet the stopped working days after it was "fixed". I called and scheduled an appointment. The plumber was quick to inform me that this was going to be an additional charge as the second problem was not related to the first problem. I called and spoke with the supervisor. Rather than being understanding of my situation, he quickly defended the charges and was not willing to work with me on price at all! Finally at the end of the call, he offered to give me $10 off which was 7% of the total bill. In two weeks, I have spent $300 to have my toilet fixed twice. I sent an email to Harry, the owner in which I still haven't received a response. It's hard for me to recommend this company based on customer service and ensuring their customers are satisfied.

  You can't get any better than this! While the name sounds expensive, this company is competitively priced and they won't rip you off. They are honest, have professional integrity, and will get the job done in a professional manner. This company is highly responsive, show up on time, and works quickly. The Gentleman Plumber is the best plumbing company I have encountered so far and I have hired a few since living in Alexandria for 21 years. The Gentleman Plumber's master plumber Andy Perkins has a great demeanor and really knows what he is doing. I had a very complicated situation at my house where another plumber from another company had come in and created a lot of problems and did not do the work up to code. Andy came in, quickly identified the issues and promptly remedied all of the problems in less time than I expected and the bill was extremely reasonable, because they work fast. I can't speak highly enough about this company! A diamond in the rough, a real find!!
