AVOID AVOID AVOID. Steer clear of these guys. They will charge you $80 just to give you an overpriced job quote. I had Steve's Plumbing (The Jogging Plumber) come bid a job for me to replace a water heater that went out. Before they came, I removed the old unit and new supply lines were installed by the plumber who helped me remove the leaking tank. The new unit is ready to set, with all wiring, water lines ready to go, and an easily accessible work space to access. They quoted me $4,783 for a tank replacement. The 80gal water tank, pan, expansion tank, and hardware add up to around $1500 on the high side, leaving $3200 left for labor. Several plumbers since told me it'd be a 2-3 hour job -- so Steve's is essentially charging $1094.33/hr. when the average going rate for a licensed plumber is $150/hr. I can't speak to their actual work but from other reviews here, I'm guessing it's far from top notch. Some of the other plumbers I had quote me for the same job were $2,500 less. One said they'd done several reworks behind Steve's jobs as well. Jog in the other direction and call Natural State, Kramer, or Anderson's.

Yes we quoted you a marathon water heater, tankless and AO Smith 80 gal electric. We do charge a service fee and let you know that up front. If you had a plumber help pull your water heater I am wondering why he didn't install the new one. We tell you the price upfront so that if you do not like it and want to check pricing you are able to do so and make your decisions. We are not overpriced and as the price of everything goes up because of the availability of supplies everything will continue to increase. Anderson's is a supply house not a plumbing company. Water heaters have increased in price for us 4 times this year and other supplies are going up so yes we do have to charge a price where we are able to stay in business. We warranty our work and answer the phone when you call us. Generally when you are getting quotes you need to ensure you are understanding everything involved so you can compare the pricing correctly. I am unaware of any plumbers that have done reworks on our service calls because we warranty our work and all they need to do is call us back in the event that something needs corrected. We have been in business for 34 years with that being said I feel that reflects on the service we provide and the work we perform. Thanks for letting us know your concerns. Have an awesome week. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

The young men that came to unclog my kitchen drain were so awesome. Very kind and respectful. People complain about the price but it wasn’t that bad considering. I would highly recommend them to anyone !!!

5 years ago we had them replace our water system, hot water tank, and a drinking water system. It cost us around 12k. We have since had them service these systems annually. Two months ago they completed a service of our systems. Immediately after that our drinking water system stopped working. We called them out to check the system and all they said was “It is 5 years old and out of warranty”. They were going to get us an estimate to repair that system and apparently they are too embarrassed to give us a quote that they have never called us back. Don’t use these folks unless you want to spend a lot of money and receive poor value.

Mr. McFarland your RO system is not working properly because you need a perforating pump and the warranty for the part is 2 years. We do not keep these in stock so we would have to order one. I called and talked with you and gave you the pricing and also informed you we would have to order the pump. I do apologize that it took us a while to get an answer from the company about the pricing and the availability of the pump. Around the holidays everything takes a little longer. Even in the times we are living in things are taking longer and pricing is going up. You opted not to repair the system but we certainly were trying to get pricing and take care of you as a customer. Thanks for telling us your concerns and call us if you decide you want to repair the RO.
