  We've used Monte at Standard Plumbing for over 15 years. He's our go-to plumber and we've never had any reason to doubt his workmanship, integrity, or the fairness of his pricing. A couple of years ago, I bought a high quality garbage disposal and asked him to install it. No problem because it was a high quality unit. For the reviewer who bought a fitting and asked Monte to install it, you're asking a master craftsman to be responsible for parts he didn't supply and couldn't vouch for the quality. That's unfair. Just because a craftsman is candid and truthful is no reason to run him down in a review. Most recently, Monte installed a gas stove for us. Top quality, on time, fairly priced as usual. I'm about to call him for another job. Five stars all the way.

  Our experience with Monte has been phenomenal! We recently moved from Montana and he’s been nothing with the best with assisting us in getting the home in good condition. Definitely our go-to for plumbing services, would recommend!

  Monte installed a new shower and tub at our house. He was not very polite on the phone when I first set up the appointment (first red flag) but I ignored it because a friend recommended him. When he got to the house to do the work he seemed extremely rushed and aggravated the whole time. He basically ran out the door when he was done without thoroughly showing me his work. After he left, we noticed a leak in one of the pipes he set up for our new shower, we noticed that the tub was not installed correctly (it had no stringer to support the weight and would creak and move like crazy when inside it) and he also installed the shower valve upside down. Now "cold" in the shower is scorching hot. When I asked him to fix these issues he said he would come when I had another job for him. I would suggest going with someone else who will be patient and give you piece of mind when doing your plumbing instead of leaks and faulty installations.
