  This team was very responsive and helpful. We had a sewer back up in our home that was flooding the first floor and Rob came to our rescue. He was very professional and took care of the issue all the while demonstrating what was wrong, and how to prevent the issue and even resolve it ourselves in ways that would at least mitigate the disaster we experienced long enough for a professional to fix the issue should it ever happen again. I am very grateful for Rob. I do not have a frame of reference for what good value is with plumbing services as this is the first time I’ve ever had to use one, though ultimately I would say while it certainly wasn’t cheap it definitely isn’t a job I could have (or would have) done on my own, and so I am satisfied for the price. Thanks Rob!!!!

  I had a great experience with Roto Rooter. They answered my call quickly, gave me a window of same-day that they could respond, called with a more specific time, and arrived on time. They fixed the problem (clogged garbage disposal, requiring the pipes to be disconnected and emptied) expertly. I'm giving 4 stars because the price was much higher than I expected -- $345. They did tell me the price before they did the work, but didn't give any pricing on the phone. If I'd known it would be that much, I'd have considered calling around or fixing it myself. I was still very glad to have the problem fixed so quickly and would use them again (with more research on the price) if I really needed someone same day.

  They unclogged our kitchen sink/disposal drain. It was not until they arrived that they quoted us $400 to snake the drain PLUS the $75 surcharge for coming on a holiday. We knew about the surcharge in advance, but $400 is ridiculous. We will look elsewhere in the future. The plumber did a fine job and the pricing is not his fault.
