Once the job had been completed the service person requested immediate payment through him, not the office. He took all my CC details. The very next day that CC was used 3hrs away for $1,700. I made the business aware of the situation and gave them days to call me back but no response from them. I ended up filling a police report. I never use that CC it is only for emergencies like this. The police also found it suspicious as well. Roto-Rooter headquarters responded with all they can do is notify the owners of that franchise. They've lost a customer for life because the customer security should come first.

Had a tech come out to cut roots from my sewer line on 3/25. The guy was alright but I don't think he got all the roots out. Wanted to upsale to 600 dollar water jetting. Either way he got the drain going but 5 days later backed up again. Called them back out and he pulled more roots out. They did not grow in a week. They offer no guarantee so I was charged again even though the original job was obviously not accomplished. I do know that there competitors stand behind their work and wouldn't charge if they did a poor job. Definitely not using again.

Chris, Cable snaking is best for clogged drains. Cable snaking will help with roots, but not totally clean the sewer line like a hydro-jet. Hydro-jet is always the best alternative for roots. The roots will eventually grow back and you will need to clean out the roots again at some point. We usually recommend one year but the timing need to adjust this. Sorry you did not feel cable snaking would clean up your root issue. Our service technican was correct in how he handled your issue.

When they finally got there it was a quick thing. The guys were nice. The whole “we will be there between 8-4” really isn’t the way to do things anymore. I took today off and then didn’t receive a call until 4:10 and they showed up at 4:20. A complete wasted day off of work. I know they have some sort of an idea of what order they are seeing their customers. Giving them an 8 hour time frame is absolutely ridiculous. Call within a two hour time frame makes way more sense. The next thing is, I don’t like that there aren’t card readers for purchasing transactions. The fact that you write down a card number onto a piece of paper is absolutely unacceptable in this day. That person could have easily taken my card number and written it down for his own.
