Good Work by Spano. Was about to install a Tankless with them and their detailed diligence saved us form ordering a unit we couldn't have in the apartment. They were honest and detailed. While we have to put the project on hold we will come back to them in a few months when its time to move ahead with the alternate plans.

I hired spano to put some under the sink water filters in (8 in total). The filters are very easy to install however I hired them simply because we were in the process of moving and I was split between a million tasks. The guy who came was nice enough but he spent 6 hours installing these filters and only installed 6 of the 8 (he did a fine job installing them) I installed the last two and it legitimately took me 10 minutes to install 2 filters as they are simply plugin filters. I got hit with a large 6 hour labor bill and I just simply don’t understand how it took this guy that long to install 6 filters. Frankly I feel like I got ripped off.

In response to the companies question I did call and I was told “well that’s just how long it took him”

Had an issue with Backflow preventers at a property in White Plains, Spano Plumbing came highly recommended and I met with Chris Spano. Its been 2 months since that meeting and he has yet to answer my emails, phone calls or send me an estimate. Either he had no idea what he was looking at or maybe they are so busy that if you need something done, call someone else. Highly unprofessional and a huge let down.

We apologize for the breakdown in communication, we also reached out several times.

Robert M. Spano Plumbing is excellent. An emergency call was answered promptly and the repair and service were excellent. We have used Spano Plumbing for all our plumbing needs and will continue to do so. We highly recommend them!

After several plumbers suggested adding an expansion tank to solve leaking from our water heater's brand new pressure relief valve, we called Spano, who we used successfully in the distant past, but had slipped our mind. The Spano plumber also said we needed a tank, had it on the truck and quickly installed it.  We have a well and think our problem was caused by a new whole house water filter install?  A couple of months later and no leaks from the valve - hooray.

On the same service call, we mentioned another problem with a leaking, 22-year-old Delta shower mixer. Delta had sent us the replacement part (lifetime warranty), but after looking online, learned that I could break a copper inlet if I did it wrong.  We had had another plumber look at the repair, and he said that due to the age of the shower and possible breakage, he did not want to touch it.  He said I should buy another mixer, and when it came in, he would open the wall backing up to the shower and install it. Buy another mixer - open up the wall - maybe, but until we could decide, we just used another shower. Spano's plumber also warned that the old line might break, but said he would see how bad things were. Seemed like a couple of minutes later, everything was done; no breaks in the line, no holes in the wall and no leak.  Terrific service call.

On a side note, the plumber parked in our driveway pullout, and then asked permission if he could park in front of our garage. Really appreciate that courtesy.

Avoid. Absolutely Horrible. We have woken up with no hot water every three months from the brand new hot water heater they recommended and installed that we purchased from them... their labor to fix it is 4x the amount of materials and be warned their labor is NOT included in estimates that you are quoted and agreed upon so your actual bill to your surprise will be thousands more then what they tell you a job will cost. Save yourself the hassle.

Came to my house charged my $158  to tell me ignitor no good, sends me estimate for 1100, saying ignitor, gas valve need changing. Did some research and investigating, spill switch was activated so problem had nothing to do with what they are claiming..thanks for your honesty.😑🤥
