We had been in our house a month and found we desperately needed 3 new toilets. Richardson Plumbing took care of this in a prompt, professional, inexpensive way. A few months later our kitchen sink backed up. We called again and they came right out to fix it. The employees were so nice and didn’t judge because this was my fault! They came first day to investigate the problem with my heater tripping the trip switch every few mins. They suspected the problem to be with the heating element and they gave me a quote of $410. We agreed to this but they did not find the parts in the warehouse and so they suggested that I work with the manufacturer to get them. After I got them by overnight shipment they came agin to install the parts but they want to charge me for the time and fuel they went to fetch the parts only to not find them. Even though I got the parts from the manufacturer, they still charged me $455.00 . They claimed that I am responsible for the time they spent to find that part and not found it. The work itself was done correctly I suppose but charging me for the trip they took to not find the part does not seem logical to me. On first visit when I asked them what would they charge me if I got the parts and I was told it would be around $200-250. Which I thought was a fair price, but after fixing it , they charged me $450, this does not seem fair to me. Be cautious if you get into using them for any plumbing devices

Hi Sabarie, I’m happy to have gotten your heater back up and running so you and your family can enjoy warm water. However, with our couple days of seeing each other, you and your wife lied 3times to us. One, you said you were told for a free visit from our secretary… when you talked to our boss who said it would be originally $95 to come look at your issue. 2nd, you guys said that the technician on site said we would be back on this day to get the issue fixed when you were contacting your warranty to get the parts from them when it reality, I, the technician never said that once to you as I said you have to call back and re schedule the visit once you have the parts. And 3rd, 1 fixed hour rate of a plumber is $245… why would we go below that and say $200 to replace your elements inside your 50Gal electric heater? That being said, you would have burnt down your house with your ways of thinking by turning the electric back on while the heater didn’t have water inside of it and by holding your main panel breaker on while it was wanting to trip and just standing there trying to hold it.This is why professionals are required and why pricing is high due to safety hazards when there is lack of knowledge.

I called up to have a pipe repaired underneath my sink, and they were very friendly and responsive! We scheduled a appointment and as soon as they arrived (on time nontheless) they began working immediately. The pipe was fixed within the hour! These boys are great with their pipes

I called to have tank-to-bowl bolts replaced for 4 toilets and to replace the washer on 2 drippy faucets.  I guess I should have asked for an estimate first.  2 guys showed up and did everything in 2 hours.  So total time was 4 hours worked (2 hours/plumber X 2 plumbers).  I was billed $1910!  That is $478 per hour worked.  Seriously!  My attorney charges less than that.  I was going to ask them to replace the hot water tank and to fix a couple of other issues.  Glad I didn't.  Completely ridiculous.  Won't be using them again.  Total ripoff.

Sorry to hear about your frustration with our price. However, replacing tank to bowl kits is not easy work even if you're a trained professional as our plumbers are. We are paid due to our experience and knowledge in this field with hours included. Leaking faucets is also another job that can be a bit tricky due to many different factors as their are hundreds of brands and styles out there. This job was done in according fashion and properly fixed with exceptional speed.
