Called for a simple quote for a fix on a leaky faucet, which worked perfectly fine otherwise, and had been for over a decade. The tech (Justin) came in to look at it, and in the process of "diagnosing" the leaky faucet handle, tore it off completely, rendering the entire faucet assembly unusable and irreparable. This was after I had asked whether or not there could potentially be a different way of removing it, to which he replied no and continued to violently shake it back and forth. After breaking my faucet, he told me I would have needed a new one anyways. Then he told me he was going out to his truck to make a quick phone call. After waiting inside for around half an hour, I took a peek at the driveway and he was gone. So I was left with a broken faucet, and hadn't received any phone call or message from anybody about what I was supposed to do. A call to the main office left me expecting another visit the next morning, with a replacement faucet of the same model to be installed. The next morning I called them and was told the tech wouldn't be in until 1 PM. This is while I'm doing dishes in my bathroom, because my kitchen sink had been destroyed by their tech. I ask if they can do it any faster, and am told the tech can make it between 11 AM and noon. 1:30 PM rolls around and the tech shows up with the wrong model of faucet, and tells me I can either take this one or buy the right one myself. Keep in mind I had waited an extra day with no kitchen sink because they had told me they were ordering my model of faucet. At this point I had to cut my losses because it was obvious I was dealing with a bunch of idiots. I would strongly recommend against giving these people your business. It's astounding to me that this seems to be such a well-recommended business. Bonus: I looked up the fix to my original problem while writing this, and the solution was to clean some valves and replace o-rings. And they wanted me to buy a whole new faucet, which they made mandatory by breaking the one I already had. Great way to do business! Easy money! Update: Called Bob Hill Plumbing, and they informed me that Kohler has a lifetime warranty on all faucets, which Acres didn't seem to know about, or they were withholding that information to get me to pay them for parts. So I got a free replacement from Kohler and had a tech from Bob Hill install it. Everybody was very kind and helpful, and the service tech did a great job. Call Bob Hill Plumbing instead.

Had to call for an emergency on a Sunday. Answering service was prompt and polite. Jesse made contact quickly and was at my house in no time. Found the issue and took care of it. Came back a few days later to replace the broken flange and install a new toilet. He worked very clean, left no mess and did a great job. I found a plumber service for life! Thank you Jesse and Acres Plumbing!

Very responsive and professional emergency service. We had a pipe break on our well system late Friday night. By Saturday morning, it had become a gusher. Unfortunately the break appeared to be under a concrete slab, and it was not obvious what the damage was. I started calling well system companies I had used in the past or recommended by family. The first two I actually spoke to (you know the weekend drill, leave a message with the answering service and wait for a call back) said they did not have the equipment to break the concrete and were not sure if they could fix my problem because of the concrete slab. Really? Working my way through the yellow pages I called several more (only one other one besides R Acres ever called back). I saw the ad for R Acres and I remembered that the Acres family had been in business in the area for a long time. Although well systems were not featured in the ad, I took a chance they could help me and called. I left a message and within what seemed like only minutes, Alan from R Acres returned my call. I explained my problem to him, he said he had a chipping hammer on the truck and he had already put my address in his GPS and could be here in 30 minutes. He was. In roughly an hour, he had cut a 1'x2' working hole in my concrete, found the broken pipe, gone to the shop to get parts, and returned & fixed the problem. Seriously, think about that. I was totally impressed by how much was accomplished in such a short time. Considering what the hourly rate for a plumber is, that is a really big deal. I had to wait for the glue to dry before I could restart my system and by then Alan was already off to the next emergency call. But Alan even called me back a couple hours after he left to make sure everything had started up ok and was dry. R Acres is now number one in my contacts list and I will be confident to recommend them to anyone who asks.
