  The company I work for used Prather for numerous locations to install business cooling/heating units. We started having issues with them within months. They blamed York, then would send their own techs to close locations, or hire somebody else so they didn’t have to travel to further locations to try to repair. They kept saying York wouldn’t give them the right codes. After over a year of visits to multiple locations, we started seeing bills for their work. They would literally say “warranty work” but they were still charging us. This became common practice for them as we are still disputing charges within the first year of installation, which was two years ago. They wouldn’t even pay the people they sent out to so warranty work for the favor of them not driving, as that company was sending us bills too. I don’t know how they are with residential work, but I would definitely stay away from any sort of commercial work.
