  Pioneer Plumbing & Heating went above and beyond what they needed to do. We had another plumber start the job and they did not know what they were doing and we got the wrong boiler system installed. We had to start from scratch and Tom at Pioneer helped us get money back and explain why and what was needed to get the job done right.

  We bought a house in Grand Rapids, MN within city limits. The house needed to have some pipes repaired that had burst during the winter. Tom and his team were able to repair the lines and get the boiler working properly again. We were so happy with how efficient Tom was that we asked him to be the plumber for the new remodel we were planning. During the following summer, we asked if we could do some of the work ourselves to save on labor cost. Tom said that we could break up the concrete in the basement and haul it away. He showed us were to cut the concrete, how much material to move, and how he was going to design the plumbing for the new layout. We also wanted to switch the old boiler over to natural gas before winter. We finished the basement excavation and had been asking for a quote for the downstairs plumbing and new boiler installed. He gave us some numbers but nothing in writing... we were okay with the numbers. We never heard back for a few weeks. We had left a couple messages from the both of us, but we didn't hear anything back. It was mid-summer; we had other projects to continue working on and decided to let the subject be. A few more weeks had passed, we left a few more messages, and nothing. Now we had to find someone else to take on the project before winter. We thought this was pretty unprofessional for Tom to accept the job, explain what needed to be done, and then leave us with a hole in our basement for months. I would recommend a different plumber for your next home project.
