Orlando was great. Very knowledgeable. Gave me options and completed work quickly. He replaced the expansion tank on the water heater and explained all repairs thoroughly. He is now in my permanent contact list!

I needed a plumber to come check a property I was looking at buying was free of polybutylene pipes and advise on plumbing issues as found/seen. Charged $140 to come out and look at property I was looking to buy. Would have preferred a free estimate, but other plumbers were booked and I had a tight time constraint to get quotes in for negotiation purposes. He came on time, found 3 leaky sinks, advised possible cross contamination of well water with city water. When I came out to look myself it turned out the cross contamination was not an issue. Plumber would not provide a written line by line quote for repairs estimates. I found another last minute plumber who provided such estimates for free. 2/5 reflects my appreciation for plumber showing on time, working me into schedule within 72hrs and being friendly. It also reflects my opinion of charging $140 for just looking and not providing any estimate for services. Response to plumbers response below. Somehow there was a miscommunication. The list Orlando gave was not what was needed. He wasn’t interested in providing anything substantial for our needs. Again, paying $140 for him to come look at the property was NOT what we wanted. I thought I was working with someone who would provide substance with his “35 years of experience.” When it became apparent that wouldn’t happen and he wanted more money I took my business somewhere else and now have all issues resolved. Learned my pricey lesson. I recommend other plumbers.

As we had discussed in our initial conversation, you wanted me to use my years (35yrs) of experience and time for an inspection of a home you were considering to purchase for "free". I stated that we charge for home inspections and you agreed to the service call. After spending over an hour and a half inspecting the plumbing, I went over our findings with your husband and provided him with an invoice/list of the mentioned items in question. At no point in our conversation with you or your husband did the topic of a formal estimate with a narrative explaining the repairs came up. I'm assuming that later your realtor requested a formal plumbing report with line-by-line items with estimated amounts so they can be applied, at the time of closing. Again, compiling this report takes time and our time is valuable, if a formal plumbing report would have been requested at the time of service, we would have then also charged accordingly for this report.
