  Tom was prompt on the phone. Sent Meghan B. to us to see why our A/C unit wasn't working. She diagnosed the problem (a blown fuse) within minutes but didn't stop there. She wanted to know why the fuse blew in the first place. After several other tests she determined a capacitor was on its way out. Replaced that as well. Professional, thoughtful, and kind. From the first call until the unit was fixed was about 2.5 hours. Can't recommend OMNI, Meghan, and Tom enough.

  So what what would likely go wrong at 5 pm, Saturday, August 7, 2021 with heat above 100 degrees? Why of course! The furnace/AC blower motor windings would burn and fill the house with the smell of electrical fire! I called Steve Beck who installed my AC 13 years ago and had done maintenance for me ever since. I had not seen him for 3 years (warranty AC compressor repair/replacement for 9 1/2 year old unit with 10 year warranty on a Saturday - that was lucky). He answered on the second ring and explained that he was with a new company, OMNI MECHANICAL and he would send a tech out named Megan. She called me back immediately and told me she was at another call and would be at my home by 6 pm. She arrived exactly at 6 pm. She quickly diagnosed the problem, removed the fan and found it was one she didn't have on her truck. She then got a parts store that was closed to open up and sell the correct part (Saturday night, 7:15!!!). The AC was running again by 8pm. Megan really saved my life. Due to medical problems, I cannot sleep in heat. I am very happy with the service performed by Megan, Steve, Omni Mechanical and the person that opened the store for the part ! The cost was much lower than expected and I thought very reasonable ! Megan was very professional and provided quality service. I will recommend Megan and Omni Mechanical to my neighbors and friends! Thank you Megan!

  Our HVAC system went down. More explicitly, the condenser motor quit working. Being a fix it sort of guy, I bought a new motor and decided that I would put it in myself. Now, I could have done that, but the old fan blades were rather stuck on the motor shaft and so.. after hours of labor and having to go to work... I called Omni and was told "yes, we can fix that and yes, we can have someone out right away".... Now, I have never seen a 24 hour repair company before... unless you paid through the nose. These folks were true to their word. Megan, the technician, showed up, started work, USED the motor I had purchased and did a quick and outstanding job. My wife, the most important person in my world, was able to sleep in comfort that night. Thank you folks, and thank you, Mistress of Motors Megan!
