  Remodel of bathroom and provided a quote which was very well priced. Spoke about each of the new items in the bathroom with my wife. Bathroom demoed and the journey started. Over a one YEAR time we have a functioning bathroom but with the following and problems over time: Cracks in shower, trimming was not completed and the ones completed hanging by tape, painting was not finish, wall not covered on the bedroom side covered, wrong bathroom sink (round versus the square the was agreed upon), both door will not close properly, closet is not completed.. I could go on, but I think it is understood. He has access to the house at any time so someone being home was not an issue. I know that we have visited quite often but with different women (I did not know) walking to our bedroom bathroom unannounced. Note: we did have to have an electrician redo the wiring because it was not up to code and considered a dangerous situation (extra cost of $200). We provided him with all the money but $500 and no one is willing to fix all the repairs needing done. My wife and I are not physically able to do any of this work; I have dialysis 3 times a week 5 hours a day and my wife has stiff person syndrome. There was a time my wife hasn't able to have work done of the house, but I kept paying on the project which should have provided him more time to prepare. My wife and I are disabled and find it awful that someone that use to be on the police force would find this acceptable. Promises of coming back and waiting seems like a cruel joke on the handicap. To this day we have not heard from him after repeating phone calls. My wife and I hope we can find a reputable company to help finish the project, but our money has gone to Mr. Hammer. Now it's not only unfinished but now has become a health danger with all the drywall debris from the unsanded and painted area. I wasn't going to write anything, but now that my wife is having seizures and it's dangerous to use out own bathroom; I felt I would be wrong not warning others. I hope no one will have anything like what happened to us occur and by some miracle we can get the bathroom complete. If asked I can take pictures ..

  Mark did an excellent job installing new lighting in my kitchen. He treated the project with an excellent attention to detail. I am very pleased. I would definitely refer him to anyone in the market for home renovations or repairs.

  Should be 0 stars but that was not an option. If you want your job done right and on time do not hire this individual. He should be taken off the Home Depot list. He claimed he had years of experience but he lied about what type of work he had the skills to do, The jobs he did for me he screwed it up I had to pay someone else to redo multiple jobs, one job alone cost me hundreds of dollars to redo and Home Depot does not care that he does not have the skills to do the work. He cannot do plumbing, drywall, electrical or roofing. He starts off by telling you he gives the customer what they want, but that will not happen. He lacks basic handyman skills. If you hire him it is likely you will have to pay someone else to do the work right. In addition to not doing the job right, he was always late, very messy (and will not clean it up). He was about a month behind of when he said he would be finished. If you want your job done right or on time do not hire Mr. Hammer, his name is a joke and not any indicator of his skills. Often people look at the good reviews but it is not likely that someone will post their own bad reviews. Should be obvious be I would not recommend this individual
