Very punctual came out to our home to pump a septic tank did a very thorough job went above and beyond to get a broken lid out of out tank. Cleaned up the yard and talked to us about some options to prevent this from happening in the future. I would recommend him to anyone. This is the third time we have used this company from some rental properties and for our personal home. Very down to earth reg guy. With a great work ethic that is hard to find now days.

UPDATE: Within hours of posting this review, I amazingly received an email response from Mike Moore (who had ignored my emails for over a month prior). He told me he was "too busy" with other customers to respond to a single one of my five email attempts over four weeks. But he would call me first thing the following Monday morning to discuss my situation. Glad I didn't hold my breath. Did I get a call? Nope. BUYER BEWARE: If you're looking for a plumber with even the slightest idea of what customer service is, keep looking. Mr. Moore seemed to have time to respond to this review as well but not the call he promised. His offer to apply any kind of credit for a tank replacement will go unused. I would rather pay more money than work again with a company that has treated me so poorly and blatantly tells their customers that they don't have time to focus on their issue. I was always polite with Mr. Moore, who comes across in his response as if I was trying to deceive him or was obstinant. I asked him to consider our circumstance and then never heard back from him... until this Google response. In short: FIND ANOTHER PLUMBER. Summary: Overcharged for service. Technician misled us. Technician was prepared to come back out and charge us an additional service fee for a problem he knew he couldn't fix. Mike Moore assured me saying "I am certain we will come to a positive resolution" in his response to my initial feedback via email and has since ignored my FIVE emails in the last 30 days requesting an update. Buyer beware. Details: On Saturday, January 2, I contacted Mike Moore's Plumbing after our toilets had started backing up into our bathtub. On the morning of Sunday, January 3, we had a technician (he said his name was Mike, and the invoice says Lang) come to our home. While Mike was here, he said he cleaned out an obstruction. When he left, he left us with the impression that the repair would remedy our problem. We paid $325 for this service. After he left, we had the same backup happening again and coming out of our bathtub. I called back to the main line, and the person who answered said that Mike could come back out but was on a call. We waited about 5 hours (without water), and Mike texted me to let me know he was on his way. I asked if this was a problem he could fix if he came back, and he said "No," that we needed a septic pump truck. So... why was he going to come back out??? To charge us again to not be able to fix anything apparently. I told Mike not to come to avoid an additional charge. I called back to the main line, and the person who answered said that Mike had never told him we had a septic issue and that he'd reach out to Justin to come out the next day. Justin came the next morning with the truck and did a 1,000-gallon tank pump with an up-charge for root removal. We paid $500 for this service. In total, we paid $825. On Saturday, January 6, I contacted Mike Moore directly via email to express how I felt that we had been overcharged for the initial service that made no progress in our problem and that we'd narrowly avoided another service charge. He responded via email on January 7 that he appreciated me letting him know and would consult with his technicians. He assured me that we would come to a "positive resolution" and his goal was to make sure that I felt we'd received a good value for the service provided. Then he would write me back to let me know the next steps. That was one month ago. I've emailed back FIVE times in that time and have gotten nothing but silence. So apparently their business structure is set up to overcharge people and then provide zero customer service. Buyer beware. I will be taking my business elsewhere moving forward and will not recommend this company to anyone.

      Response from the owner

When we first spoke, you said you were on city sewer and we found out you have septic upon arrival. The plumber found your house to be completely stopped up as you said. He unstopped everything after about 1 ½ hours on Sunday. The plumber (Mike Lang), then ran a new line under your crawl space to your tank discovering your septic tank was full. The first truck was a “Plumbers Truck/Van” and we had to send a “Pump Truck” back to the location, the following Monday. You needed pumping but he had to clear roots and debris before he could begin. He found your tank to be in bad shape with the walls collapsing. This will happen as a surprise without proper maintenance and it will always happen to someone that does not know they are using a septic tank and not city sewer. If you would like to discuss replacing your tank and have everything working as it should, we will of course prorate a portion of this into the cost of a new installation as normal business practice. As for a discount on current services, there will be none. We gave a discount on hours and did not charge for emergency service on Sunday. We did the best job we could do given the information provided by the owner of the house.

Called them after hours and talked to the owner. He seemed very caring and considerate. My main sewer line was clogged and he sent someone one fairly quick and gave me a good estimate over the phone. The plumber came out and had the clogged removed in no time, he was very professional, clean and did not waste any time. He also gave me some advise on how to fix some other problems. Pricing was very fair. I would recommend these guys over anyone or company. Keep up the good work!

      Response from the owner

Chris, we believe in an open line of communication -- connect with us anytime. We're happy your sewer line was restored. If you need more information, give us a call. Thank you for trusting us to take care of you and your home. -Mike M., Owner
