  The plumber was responsive and very kind. However, I believe I was the recipient of a higher quote as a woman handling the situation. The price I was quoted was BEYOND outrageous. What the 2 associates of this company did not know is that I have overseen multiple renovations- personally and professionally. I did not want to reach out to my usual plumber because he is so busy but after what I'm assuming was a stereotypically inspired estimate, I had no choice but to turn to a trustworthy source. I won't share the scope of work that they quoted me $1,400 for because I don't want to further embarrass this company that was hoping we'd pay that for a simple job. When I played the game with others in the industry of "how much would you pay for (and described the issue)", it ended with laughter. On my list of not trustworthy.
