  Called to get an estimate to have a thermostat put into my house. Was told they couldn't give an estimate. WTH, could be charged $100 or $1000 and not know in advance a round a bout cost????

  Plumbing service that has no sewage auger. He will tell you where to rent one however. Laziness prevails.
