  Sitting her literally shocked at my experience with Lights Plumbing. I had a simple job. Two bathroom faucets needed to be replaced. I was given two quotes by two other plumbers locally. $85 per hour and $120 per hour. Was told it would take 90 mins to 2 hours if it was tougher. I also called Lights and left a message. They were prompt and called back same day and said, we can come in 30 mins. I was excited because I only left a message and didn't even talk to anyone. I thought this is great. BIG BIG mistake, I didn't get an estimate from them, but thought if the other two were around the same price Lights should be competitive. They were nice guys, the job was fast. Took only 90 mins to do. After 1 hour they both had to take a "Break" to smoke. I told them I would call the office and pay with a credit card tomorrow morning. He said no they take payment right now. Also if I used a Credit card he said it would be another 4% added to the bill. I said what was the bill. Expecting $150 to $200 at the most. He said $500 dollars. YES $495 dollars for 90 mins to install 2 bathroom sink faucets!! I told him that price is crazy, what in the world? What do you charge per hour. He said we charge by the job? By the job! Well shouldn't this be a simple job! $500 dollars! I am shocked, ticked off and feel this is absolutely unacceptable. I don't do reviews, but I felt people need to know a genuine experience I had with Lights. I am very very disappointed. PLEASE get estimates from EVERYONE you deal with. Even if others gave you one get them all. Shame on you Lights.

  Thanks for your review- you did provide the fixtures that we installed for you , we are a flat rate company we charge by the job not by the hour the technicians were actually there 2 hours installing the fixtures . We still had to use our parts to make everything work correctly. Also install popup assembly’s in the sink we wish the tasks that were performed were that easy but unfortunately they are not in most cases. We also fixed an issues with your shower valve that another plumbing company installed so you could get the hot water to your liking while we were there . Also a lot of local plumbing companies charge a dispatch fee and a half hour minimum and it starts at 210$ plus materials costs . So we are within line with our pricing. Regardless we are still here for you in the future if you ever need us . Take care .

  They did not honor their quote for drain cleaning..$255 The homeowner is 93yrs old on a fixed income and didnt do other work due to the high cost for cleaning the drain. Yet they charged another 98 dollars to plunge the tub. The company's owner felt we should have known the tub was separate and then said, well he did get the 35 dollar senior discount. I asked for the cost of everything and only wanted the drains cleaned for the price they gave me! No integrity! Will never use them again!

  Trish we are sorry you feel this way. We gave you a quote to clear one drain issue- you told the technicians you also had another problem with the upstairs tub drain ( in which was a separate issue and was an add on ) the technicians had to remove parts of the waste overflow to clear the blockage correctly. We are sorry we didn’t live up to your expectations. We are still here if you need us in the future. Take care .
