  I will not confirm nor deny that I am a current or past employee for the Lamb County Sheriffs Office. But in my time working for the office I witnessed some pretty unsettling things. The Sheriff is a hot head is an understatement and saying he is kind to his employees would be a lie. I’ve witnessed the man fire a deputy over putting a dent in his patrol car or hitting a deer during the season. He has a “special” yellow shirt he fires employees that hangs in his office. The guy literally gets off on firing people he has to have a special shirt to do it in. It is no wonder the turn around for deputies is so short lived. The administration is made up of arm rest quarter backs who usually all take naps on duty. You can find the chief deputy asleep in his purple Tahoe asleep in his patrol car usually around 1 to 2pm just north of Cresent Park. Or the investigator asleep on the job in his office. I do not recommend any new law enforcement to apply here they will definitely ruin your moral to work in the field.
