I looked on my local FB group for a plumber and someone I know peripherally recommended Eric Kenney. Since it was a Sunday, I reached out on FB instead of calling Kenney's and to my utter shock, I received an immediate response and a guarantee that Eric would come out the next day. He did and fixed the problem very quickly. To simply check off 'good value', 'responsive', 'good quality', 'on time' and 'professional' is a huge understatement!

I have been very happy with Kenney’s since I found them almost 4 years ago. Eric Kenney understands my limited budget and has given me money and time saving advice at every step with my bathrooms and other projects. Very responsive and professional, they do the job on budget, on time, and with care. I love that they’re a family business and have even established a plumbing school. I also love that they have a great sense of humor! Thanks so much.

Do not contact Kenney Plumbing no matter how small your problem is. Please read this if you are considering contacting Kenney Plumbing. I called Kenney Plumbing to fix a leaky shower handle in my bathroom. While on the phone, I was told that there would be a $79 fee that would be applied to the service. I agreed thinking that the person who came out was going to fix the problem that I called about, so the $79 would go towards that service. A man named Eric comes out to my house and spends about 45 minutes in my bathroom. He proceeds to tell me that we need new pipes to prevent a catastrophic leak down the line. He goes on to tell me that we will have to rip out our entire bathroom, including the tub and wall tiles. Basically, he used this time to try and sell me on renovating our entire bathroom in order to change out some old pipes. Now, I've since had other plumbing companies come out for other opinions, and not one has said that I had to remove my tub and wall tile - they even scoffed at the notion. After discussing my options with Eric, I wrote him a check for $79 under the assumption that he had fixed the leaky handle. However, later in the day when I went to take a shower, not only had Eric not fixed the handle, but now the handle broke clean off when I went to turn it. While the handle was leaky, it was not loose nor did it ever feel like it was going to snap off. Eric has denied any wrongdoing and told me he didn't even touch it - however, that makes me wonder just what he came over to do when my request was specifically to fix that handle. After calling Eric to discuss what happened, he quickly became abrasive and defensive. Eric stated over and over that he hadn't touched the handle, threatened to take me to the magistrate if I didn't pay the $79 fee for him coming over to do nothing but try and sell me on renovating my entire bathroom, and told me that writing this review would be defamation of character. There are plenty of quality plumbers in the Delaware County area that don't charge a fee just to step in your door. Including companies that won't charge you a bogus fee even if they don't fix the problem that you called them about. Shame on you Eric Kenney and Kenney Plumbing, Inc. I hope the $79 was worth it.
