We called to have our boiler serviced and was told they were behind on scheduling and would call me back. Two weeks later cold weather was coming and I called back and was told the same thing. My first call was in September. It's now December and no phone call. We were able to find another plumber who responded within 3 days of me calling.

It took awhile to get him to come out because his other jobs took longer than expected. So I was rescheduled twice but the receptionist was very friendly. The plumber was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond what I expected. Definitely worth the wait. Just good local people and have definitely earned my business for the future. 5 stars

I have a rental in Salem where the tenant complained of a slow toilet. I called a handyman to get it fixed and he was not able to do it. I called JP plumbing on Tuesday Sept 26th and they scheduled to come out on Friday Sept 29th 2017 at 8 am. I explained the issue and told them what we had already done such as taken the toilet off and snaked the line 25feet and that did not clear it and the blockage seems further down the line. I also requested for the plumber to call me so I can explain the issue. Someone from JP plumbing showed up at 8am and they told my tenant right away that they don't do drains. The person from JP plumbing said that if they were still Naughton plumbing they would have done it but not now. He left within 5 minutes of being there without even trying anything. I then had to call another company to fix this issue. I called JP plumbing back to make sure they don't bill me for this and the lady who picked up was very rude and said that they will have to bill me for the first hour $70. When I disputed the charge and said that she did was not forthright with me about what they can do or not do she said her manager would call me. I got a call this morning from the manager and he said "Well why did you call us?' Well I called to get the issue fixed but if I told you that we have snaked the line and the blockage if further than 25 feet and you don't do drains then why did you schedule the visit. He said since they showed up they have to charge me $70. I said that this is not reasonable and I would pursue with the BBB at which he got really upset and said ' Do you want me to give you their number? Go ahead and try' and then hung up. This was a very poor experience as a customer and I felt that I was being ripped off for a service they did not provide even when I went the extra mile to explain the nature of the problem.
