  I called them to check my new house heat pump system as it was throwing very cold air during the defrost periods, and the outside unit fan won't stop during the defrost. They sent a tech who clearly said that he is not familiar with the system, and he did not look at the outside unit. he then found out the problem which was the backup heat. Then I waited about 10 days for two fuses to be replaced. They want to charge me too much for replaceing those two fuses. I paid them only the diagnostic chrage which was also too much. Also, they did not inform me the cost before sending the tech so I had no choice, but to pay them. I bought the two fuses online which cost me about 30% of what they asked. And I replaced them myself and save myself money and time. Lesson learned, I should have been looking for better company.

  We get $120.00 per hr. + travel time that we tell all customers that ask for our rates, we get a markup on all parts sold this customer couldn't diagnose his problem as it required a skilled technician to complete a proper diagnostic to complete this job. Our company does not stock those types of fuses, nor does any other local vendors stock them either, therefore we had to make a special order to obtain these type of fuses. We did order these fuses but the customer then asked our prices after we completed the first diagnoses on his system, then he canceled this job. Our technicians are fully trained with the equipment that we install and service. Good -Luck in finding a better company, JJK & Son Services LLC. also since we started in 1998 we have ben on over 80,000 services calls unfortunately you can't please everyone. But we do try to.

  I called John the owner 2 times (5 days apart), regarding an annual cleaning and concern I was having with my boiler and he never called back...how could he not even extend the courtesy of a call? Thankfully I found another company that sent someone out within days and found that the parts needed to repair my boiler are covered under warranty! I will be post a review for them after the follow up service is done!
