  If you ever buy a home in this area be sure it isn't a fixer upper because it is impossible to schedule workers to come out on a fixed date to do any repairs, as they always have to leave their schedule open for people with emergencies. What a drastic change from living in California, where you could schedule an appointment for a specific date and time and they would be there. I am not sure what is the deal in this area, and I am not blaming Jim Bollinger and Sons, but it is extremely frustrating when I haven't had a shower for a month and I have to wait and hope that they can find time to fit me in. To top it off, I am having phone issues, so I cannot call to check on if they are even coming today. These people are very friendly and do exceptional work, but at this point, I regret moving here and wished I had stayed in California, where scheduling service appointments was a much more stress-free and professional experience. Don't get me wrong, their work is exceptional and they charge reasonable rates, but the stress of scheduling service appointments and not knowing when they will actually come takes away from the positives. I would definitely recommend them, but I would not recommend buying a fixer-upper with the kinds of repair companies that exist out here. So frustrating and depressing. Malden and the surrounding towns are trash.

  I used this company once to fix a leak under my kitchen sink and they were great! I decided to use them again for a leak in my pump house. After 4 weeks the work is still not done. I was told they are very behind and are just trying to fit me in when they can. Since we just bought this house we are doing lots of repairs and upgrades. A new central air and heat system is one of the next projects on my list. Since I can't get a leak fixed I certainly will not trust them with a big job! Very disappointed and will not use again in the future.

  The workers who showed up were good, but the cost is ridiculous considering they were only there for like 10 minutes and so it felt like an unfair price.
