One word describes Jay's Heating and Cooling, awesome! We were having issues with our furnace not turning on so after reading some reviews and hearing their ads on the radio I gave them a call. Within a couple of hours they were at our home and repaired our furnace. The owner/tech was able to answer all of my questions, repaired our furnace in a timely manner, cleaned up after himself, and the price was great, much cheaper than others that we have had work on our furnace. Jay's Heating and Cooling now has ALL of our future business.

Needed central air installed and didn't have any existing ductwork. The installers finished in one day and there were no hidden charges it cost what the estimate said. Because there was no ductwork they had to put vents in the ceiling which meant debris but the installers were good about covering surfaces and sweeping up.

We have several times had Jay's come out to our home for service on our furnace water heater and ac. Until this past experience we were happy with their services. After this last experience however we were left crest fallen and really very hurt to be honest. After smelling gas the gas company came out and explained it was our furnace, they tagged it and we called Jay's. They sent out a chap and his son and in 15 minutes they told us we would need a new furnace for 3500.00! Of course it's the coldest dates thus far this year and we couldn't forgo the furnace but we did our due diligence and called for a second estimate. Well the guys at Four Star came in and in 20 minutes cleaned the burner and the tubes and our furnace is like new! And all for only 215.00.. we feel that we were being taken advantage of by Jay's and I have no qualms saying it outright. The idea that during a pandemic and on the coldest dates thus far this year Jay's tech saw an opportunity to take advantage of us. For SHAME! Its a pity that this is the world we live in and these are the kind of things people do. Jay's has lost our trust and we will no longer call on such vultures to care for our home or rental properties I suggest you all do the same.

I am sorry this customer has come to this assumption about our my business. Lets base things on facts rather than assumptions and degrading my companies character. 1. The Ohio gas company shut this furnace down as unsafe. They do not do this for no reason. 2. There is a class action law suite against Carrier/Bryant for there model of furnace in question. This is for a high failure rate of failed heat exchangers. 3. This furnace was running so hot the vent pipe had melted and the furnace safeties had tripped. It did the same thing last year and am surprised the furnace it made it last year. The renter was shown this and this information was conveyed to the owner. 4. The inside of the vent and the furnace drain showed as tar like substance and the furnace outlet vent smelt of poor combustion. 5. Simply put we do not condemn anything to gain business, any person who knows me or my employees KNOW THIS. I live and work in the same town as the people who posted this review, I assure you there assumptions are not correct. 5. I CARE ABOUT THE LIVES OF THE PEOPLE WE SURVICE. THE FURNACE WILL FAIL AGAIN SOON. LETS HOPE NO ONE IS INJURED OR WORSE.... Respectfully, Kevin W. Jay, owner
