  Had a backed-up sewer line and was freaked out about the urgency of the problem as well as getting service during the pandemic. JF Plumbing returned my call right away, had a tech out within the hour and resolved the problem and cleaned up. I believe the pricing was fair and I appreciated their sense of urgency & professionalism in responding to my emergency. Highly recommend.

  The technician came into our home and did not even acknowledge our hellos or greetings which made us feel very uncomfortable. When it came to look at our leak he was very unsure as to how to proceed, often asking us which parts of our walls and ceiling we would like for him to cut. He moved very slowly and did not give us straight answers about the source of the leak, wavering between possibilities. Ultimately he was unsure as to the source of the leak. He said he could not do the repair on the same day (although we had been advised this would be possible when we made the appointment) due to him not having 1/2 inch CPVC pipes in the truck, but said he could wait for someone else to join him in two hours to do a same day repair. He advised we would pay for his time waiting the two hours, at $125/hr. We politely declined. The gentleman also took calls and was on his phone during our job. $350 for two hours of "plumbing" at a glacial pace. Never again.

  We are very sorry to hear our service was unsatisfactory. Unfortunately, when a leak in concealed within a wall or ceiling we have to perform some investigation to determine the source. We do our best to keep a variety of pipes, fittings, tools, faucets, etc on our service trucks, but we can only carry so much and cannot always have what's necessary for a repair on hand. We would also just like to kindly remind you our technician did snake out your kitchen sink stoppage in the time he was there, and our charge was less than the amount you indicated.
