  Jeff M. was my serviceman. He arrived promptly and got right to work - he wore a face mask and appropriately distanced. I thought it was going to be a simple clog, but it turned out to be more extensive. Jeff kept working until he found the problem. On the way up from the basement he noticed that my dog gate was loose - he immediately fixed it! I couldn’t be more pleased with Jeff’s service and the price was reasonable for the hours he was at my house. Also I was pleased in my initial contact with J & A drains; the woman was polite and immediately gave me an appointment. I would recommend this company and will use them again.

  I woke up to sewage backed up in my basement on a Monday morning. I called J & A plumbing and they set me up for an appointment on Tuesday, keeping me on standby if they could fit me in the same day. They called 2 hours later and said they could be over in 15. Jeff got to work right away and let me continue working from home until the problem was fixed. I couldn’t believe how affordable the price was. He also gave me advice for maintaining clean drains at a much lower rate than during my home inspection. I know I will be a longtime customer after just 1 visit.

  Came within a half hour on a Sunday and fixed a clogged sewer drain due to tree roots in an hour. We were having a family gathering for our elderly parents so there was a houseful with many “cooks in the kitchen” so to speak. Ian was professional, patient, efficient and caring. He also provided recommendations for preventive measures. Very positive experience! We will use them again, if needed!!
