  I had a pretty severe clog that was too far for me to snake myself. It was causing waste water from the upstairs to back up into our kitchen sink (GROSS) and prevented us from running any water on two floors of our house. I called Roto-Rooter but they were not going to be able to get to me for three whole days. I called Haines next and left a message about my situation. I received a prompt call back from Travis, who told me that they could be at my place the next day. They didn't show up until 4pm, but leading up to their arrival I was able to get quick responses and updates about when they'd be on their way via text. Upon arrival, the guys were very friendly and professional. I showed them the problem area and they recommended their high pressure clean-out service. They quoted me a price of $1250 that seemed very high for the amount of time it was going to take, but I accepted, being desperate to be able to get things back to normal. In the end, they cleaned up and even helped get rid of some of the horrible stench caued by the sewage water that had spilled out under our sink. Did I pay more than I wanted to solve this problem? Sure. But they did the job fast and did it well, and to have things back to normal was worth it. I'm not sure I'd call them for a non-emergency due to their high cost, but if you have an emergency involving a clogged pipe and you want it solved ASAP, don't hesitate to call Haines.

  Never do I leave bad reviews, but Haines Drains screwed us over so badly, they deserve it. They came out for an emergency call on a Friday night before we left for Vacation. My basement was spewing water and I was quite frantic. The crew was timely and polite and professional, but man did they rip me off. They completely took advantage of me and my plumbing ignorance. They charged me almost $5,000 and I'm still not really sure what they did besides find things to fix that didn't need fixing. They re- routed a random pipe that didn't need to be re- routed. They put in a new Sump Pump when my old one was fine. They screwed up my water royally, it became so rusty I've had to have another company come out and fix their mistakes. When we explained what happened to another local well- known plumber, he straight up told us that we got ripped off and that he would've fixed the original leak for less than half the cost. I'm just bummed, because initially their customer service was great and they do have solid reviews. I have never complained about paying a fair price for a job done well. Haines, you ripped me off and you know it.

  Haines drains fixed my emergency plumbing issue . They were timely professional and knowledgeable. They diagnosed my issue and got to work saving me from a total system failure.
