  I have two systems. The system installed in the house in 1920 is steam heat with a return line. The system in the room I just added is radiant hot water in a cement slab. Gerry Gill has worked on tuning up my old steam heat boiler system. He had heat sensitive valves at the radiators repaired then he installed them. This really great improved the heat delivery and exchange in the room and prevented steam from leaving the radiator and returning to the boiler. Now he maintains my heating system. My new system is radiant heat supplied to a basement floor. This is a great system, very comfortable and Gill Plumbing and Heating installed it. Finally, I want to write that Gerry is training young folks in the trade and supervises them with patience but also with attention to details.

  Gerry installed my hydronic system. My house and garage are on the same boiler as is the potable hot water. A warm floor is a beautiful thing.

  It’s been 20 years since Gerry installed our steam boiler, which still works flawlessly. Since such time every person to whom I have referred Gerry has been impressed with his abilities, particularly those whose systems never worked well - until they met him. A testimonial is long overdue. There is no one more knowledgeable about steam systems in northern Ohio than Gerry Gill. Before replacing our boiler, I spent months researching steam systems, interviewing others and noted that he was considered one of the experts on an informative site, HeatingHelp.com. His knowledge is unsurpassed: he demonstrated steam traps/vents, along with associated patents to me when I first met him. He and his partner published their research on steam air vents/traps, both old and new, in the form of a chart, which was sold on HeatingHelp, proceeds of which went to charity. I doubt that you find any other plumber who does research, makes his charted results available to help all and directs proceeds to charity.
