I was told they need a NON REFUNDABLE deposit just to come out and LOOK at the JOB? Then the would give me a price and put me on the schedule? In what world is that they way this works?

fantastic job by Steve P. and owner Dave...steve came to my house to restart my furnace which I was having trouble with (Chimney as well) and I told him my concerns (which I also addressed to multiple people in another agency and was ignored)... he was told to start furnace and leave but he did listen to my concerns and looked at what I thought was safety issue/ agreed that it needed to be checked/monitored by fire dept first. Fire dept kindly came out and if it were not for Steve and the fire department my 3 kids, myself and my pets would have not woken up the next morning. We would have been on the news for upcoming funerals... no exaggeration here... they all literally saved our lives. I highly recommend them for there top notch service, professionalism and support. Update :unfortunately the job hasn't been completed and my furnace is acting up since they were here.. It constantly shuts down and I have repeatedly called and was told they would charge me 500 To just come up. My siding is crooked, the power vent continually runs and the live 4 wires left sticking out of the uncovered panel keeps tripping my circuit breaker. I have pics but not site how to post. This is going on a year. UPDATE LATE 2020...SOMEONE ELSE CAME IN .IT WAS THEIR RELAY SWITCH THAT WAS BAD AND KEPT TRIPPING BREAKER..bad switch..unfortunately federal never contacted me or finished/ fixed job...

Called them this morning about my furnace not working. Was greeted on the phone by Cheryl who is a ver nice lady. Gave her my information and was transferred to Dave. Spoke to Dave for 2 minutes about the problem I was having and then spoke for an additional 10 minutes about work and being in the union. Felt like I could trust him right from the start. He had an opening at 2 for a tech to come by my house. The tech (Steve) came out at exactly 2 and had the problem identified by 2:20. Ran out to get the part and came back installed and out the door by 4. This company truly went out of their way to keep me and my family warm as the storm sets in. Great company. Trustworthy, knowledgeable and professional 100%. Being in the military for 22 years These are traits I look for in dealing with businesses. Highly recommend them!
