Knowledgeable staff. Welcoming place. They always have what you need for plumbing and heating. Heat pump accessories, Line sets, 14/3 wire. Try getting that stuff at Home Depot right now, not happening!

My husband and I decided to renovate our master bathroom and the kitchen. We decided to check to see why FW Webb had for fixtures And we really liked what we saw and placed several orders. This was in July and I called in August inquiring if the chandelier and the fixtures I had ordered had arrived. I got a response of let me call the companies and see if they’ve been shipped and I was told they were being shipped on that very day! On September 16 I called to inquire again where is my chandelier in the fixtures as the contractor was being held up. Again, I got the response was, I will check and get back to you. By September 20 I still have not gotten a response from anyone at Webb as to where my chandelier and the fixtures were. Finally on September 28th, nothing had arrived, The remodeling had come to a stop and I went to Webb myself and said I really want my money refunded. I was told but they’re on their way and my response was since July? The customer service associate was very nonchalant in her response to me of OK . Until this company is organized , go elsewhere.

Not ready for prime time. We checked them out on the advice of our contractor, and really had a great experience there. But then there was email trouble, things not coming through, email responses were slow, though we finally got prices. Prices were just unreasonable. I expected them to be twice as expensive as Home Depot, but they were between 8 & 10 times the prices. Then, we discovered one item we ordered was special order, and had to be made to order, and that's what made that piece more expensive. The fact that some items were "made to order" was not explained. We found a few others we liked almost as well. Finally, after a very sloppy back and forth, we arrived at some prices, only to discover that one item (a mirror) had been discontinued. Picking items out for home remodelling is a very painstaking business. Things like this need to be known ahead of time, not once we've left the store and put that process behind us. We also learned, that the rep who we spent an hour with picking things out, went on 6 week leave the very next day, leaving us to start from scratch. Finally, even though the mirror we wanted was discontinued, we offered to purchase the display model, and the lady said that we couldn't do that until they had a replacement to hang in its place (really...I mean ... really?? I won't even go into the irony here). In short, this is a place that just has a lot of rough edges, they're "depot quality" in terms of service and ought to be priced quite a bit lower to reflect this. (update: Also ordered chrome pulls for vanity but were brass. At that point it was easier to pay the extra and just go to Home Depot)
