Pretty great experience all around. Long story short, would definitely recommend. They don't try to rip you off and do a great job.

Previous owner who I bought my property from left me an ancient septic tank that was on the verge of collapsing. When I first called to get it replaced, they were fully booked for around 3 weeks and put me on the schedule for the next available spot.  Luckily for me, they found an opening due to a cancellation of another customer and I was able to get my new tank installed within a week.  They were in and out, and did an all around great job -- nice clean installation and good grass seed and hay finish. Aaron (the owner who worked on my installation) even helped me fill a nearby ditch with some of the leftover dirt. When the time comes for me to install a new drain field, I will definitely call them again.

Yup, that's what happened.  While we were doing our due diligence for a new house purchase, our home septic acted up and needed replacement.
From the moment I called to make the appointment to seeing the hay placed on the completed install, I was inspired by the entire staff's professionalism and knowledge. Clearly, this is what they DO.
Aron came by both locations in one day, gave a thorough assessment, gave us our options, patiently explained everything our curious minds questioned.  We agreed to his estimate, which proved accurate.
Sean's digging was masterful, maneuvering around a propane gas line.
During this process we got to know the staff as people, and they are all knowledgeable, trustworthy -- and fun to chat with.
I would highly recommend Esselman and would hire them again.

Esselman Sewer and Drain are top notch!  Our plumber recommended them to us after a number of blockages happened at our tenant's property, and they came out promptly to diagnose the issue.  To everyone's surprise, there was a second tank that the previous owner did not tell us about, and we had to replace the entire thing and eradicate the field of sewage that had leaked previously.  Having moved internationally since renting the property out, we had to do all of our correspondence over the phone.  The team at Esselman Sewer and Drain were always courteous, helpful, and on the ball.  My phone calls were always answered or promptly returned, my questions were thoughtfully addressed, and the photos my tenant sent after the job showed a lawn that looked immaculately put back together.  Not one patch of dirt out of place.  One of their workers even took care of a yellow jacket problem that we had on the property, and suffered a few stings for his efforts. I am completely blown away by their service. We had two septic situations, one was urgent but the other was a full on emergency. Before even being a paying customer, Aaron came out very quickly to address our emergency. Despite being very busy, his team started working almost immediately on the emergency and our problem was solved much quicker than we had anticipated. The team then immediately began work on the other septic issue, and solved problems we thought were going to take weeks in a matter of days. Esselman did a complete septic system replacement for me.  He worked hard and overcame many government and weather related delays.  He is extremely fair and does quality work.  He runs a great crew who were friendly and clearly knew what they were doing.  I would highly recommend and would definitely use again.

We had a great experience with Esselman Sewer and Drain Service! From the very beginning, Aaron and his crew were exceptional: they were responsive, knowledgeable, and fast! We had an enormous job, and it was completed in two days-any other company would have taken at least a week. The work was guaranteed, and they left our lawn in the best shape possible—they even seeded and added hay to the areas of the lawn they had to dig up, and replanted bushes that had to be moved. Super quick problem solvers when it was discovered plan A wouldn’t work. We feel very confident that we have the best possible septic system for our home. Aaron was kind, responsive, and clear cut about everything.  Office staff was kind and a pleasure to talk with as well.  We had to have a leech field put into our septic system.  Extremely professional job and would absolutely recommend.
