I'm a property manager for a large apartment complex and I always make sure we call DrainWorks for all our plumbing issues. Not only do they have the best prices, they have friendly service and they always answer the phone. We use them on a variety of plumbing projects including drain reconstruction, after hour plugs, and general drain snaking. We've used a lot of companies over the years and DrainWorks is by far the best. Definitely give them the chance to show you how awesome they are!

We needed some plumbing work done and we called Drain Works. Eric thank you for your time and the work you provided. Any and all plumbing needs we will call you. Also, good luck with your venture into bee farming whenever that day comes!

I hired Drain Works last year to snake out my drain line. They did the work, and it seemed like things were okay. However, a year later, today, we had the same problem, only worse. When water was run and drained, it would back up, usually into the lower level bathtub. I hired Drain Works to come out. They sent a guy who removed the toilet, then tried running a snake out into the pipe. He did it. It didn't work. As soon as he put the toilet back on, the problem came right back. He does the snaking again, still no help. Keep in mind the guy really just shoved it down, pulled it back, didn't spend a lot of time moving it, etc. Next, they suggest "jetting." Only, they want to just run the jet down there, they're not going to use a camera. I started getting a bit suspicious at this point. I start getting 2nd opinions, etc. I ended up having another company come take a look.. now when Drain Works came out the first time, they told me there was no drain access other than the toilet. The guy from the different company shows up today.. within 5 minutes, finds a drain access point that's not the toilet. Amazing. At this point, I feel like Drain Works is doing me a bit of a disservice. I call the owner, Eric Larson, and I try to explain my concerns. Mr. Larson got an attitude, didn't want to talk, said he'd come out to "get [his] check." Tells me he'll be there in 10 minutes. 25 minutes later, he calls me back and says he's sending the plumber to get the check. I then explain to Mr. Larson, who is not interested but I make him listen anyway, about my concerns with his work process, etc. Mr. Larson showed no interest. The other company offered to run a camera down with the "jetter" to make sure the pipe was cleared when they were done. Mr. Larson didn't want to do that. Turned out that the other company got the job, for obvious reasons. When they did their work, sure enough, they found numerous clumps of roots in there. The camera was invaluable in making sure it was all clear to the street. Drain Works would have jetted it enough to make the water run, but clearly they'd have missed most of the problem without use of a camera. Mr. Larson seems to want to charge full price for half-ass work. This is sad, because I had thought they were a professional company. Clearly they're not, and they're not interested in improving or even seeking constructive criticism. On top of that, they charged me a full $100 for the snake job that didn't work at all, and only served to leave a mess in my bathroom and a toilet that I had to get the other company to reseat. Very disappointed. I have to give them a one-star, and recommend you take your business elsewhere. There's another company out there "exceeding expectations." Find them.
