That statement will stay with me for life, hmmm ... our health is truly our wealth .

We called this company to look at a problem we had near our septic drain field. The owner said he couldn't do anything until we had a repair permit from Houston County Health Department. He would not even come look at the situation to determine if a repair was even needed or if it was a maintenance issue. The health department charged $175 for the permit and came out to assess the situation. They said the septic field likely needed to be replaced and they would issue a permit in 3-5 business days. Since we thought this was going to be a major project, we called three companies, including this one, and asked them to come out to give a bid for drain field replacement while we waited for the permit. Once again, he refused to come over until the permit was issued. Another company came to bid and he decided to dig down and open the distribution box to get a better idea of the problem. He asked if he could try to clear the lines thinking there was a simple clog somewhere. I let him do it and after a few minutes he had everything working as it should. He said the permit was not required for maintenance and clearing a clog is only maintenance, not a repair. I paid him for his service and decided to let him clean the tank out since it had been a few years since the last cleaning. Because of Crocker's insistence on getting a permit, we unnecessarily spent $175 for a unneeded permit and it nearly cost us a few thousand dollars if it weren't for an honest man willing to literally dig a little deeper and discover a simple problem. I can't recommend Crocker. Look elsewhere for septic service before calling the health department or this company.
