Ron came to do the first assessment and the installation of our new water heater. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He was also understanding as we changed our mind on going from tankless to the standard tank style water heater. He was extremely accommodating. ONE STAR TOO MANY
Worst experience I've had with any home contracting services! I've been around the block owning a fixer-upper, you name it, I've probably hired a service for it. After my water heater broke I called this company to replace it. They took A WEEK just to show up with THE WRONG water heater, despite me sending the exact model I needed (they disregarded me telling me "they know what they're doing"). They told me they would need A SECOND WEEK to come back with the right one, for a modicum $2,400 (only for instalation, the water heater plus permits was to go out of my pocket)
TLDR: Stay away from this company, the prices are ridiculous and the customer service is non-existent.

Andrea, this review should be addressed to your home warranty, you never hired us directly. Therefore we must comply with strict rules of your home warranty.

We had a problem with our washing machine, but the main problem was with a clogged pipe through which water should go from the washing machine. As a result, I saw water pouring straight to the floor.
I called Chosen Rooter and scheduled my appointment for the next day. Daniel came on time and fixed everything very fast, I was amazed.
He did his job very professionally and clean. I highly recommend Chosen Rooter!

I called a bunch of plumber services in the neighborhood to get a quote for my shower that was draining very slowly. I went with Chosen Rooter and Plumbing because of their initial quote of $150 - $250. They also advertised that they have a 15% discount on their yelp page. Because of this and the 5-star review, I scheduled for them to help fix my drain issue.

I rarely write any negative reviews, but I feel that everyone should WATCH OUT for this company because of how misleading they are with their customers.

The technicians showed up and fixed the drain in less than 15 minutes. I knew that this was going to be an easy job since the drain was not fully clogged. I thought the initial quote of $150 would be the price with the 15% discount.

The technicians told us the total would be $250. I was shocked and confused but did not want to argue with strange men in my house and would just bring this up to the manager. I paid the invoice and immediately tried to contact them to see why the price was so high.

I brought this up with the manager, Daniel, but he was not helpful and I had to message several times to get an actual response.

He told me that they charge per project and because they used a power snake, it cost more. He also mentioned that the 15% discount only applies to neighbors and that I didn't ask for the discount.

First of all, I live in San Francisco, so I am confused about how I am not considered a neighbor. Second of all, I did mention that I am calling from Yelp and the discount.

Daniel proceeded to tell me that it's so great that they charge per project because other companies charge per hour and the customer is usually "milked like a cow" per hour.

Overall, I would not recommend this company as they mislead their customers and do not actually use their advertised discounts. I am not entirely sure why they have a 5-star rating but I do know that some companies can pay for better reviews.

We gave you a quote you accepted it and we honored it. But because we were able to get the job done faster then you anticipated now you're upset and want more. Karma is like a boomerang.

I’ve used Chosen a few times. This time they fixed my toilet, faucet and drain issues. The technician was very nice and quick. I will definitely continue to use them.

I just purchased a new home. I returned from a short trip and my toilet wasn't working plus my garbage disposal was leaking. Yay. I called around to check prices at different places and I thought Daniel was really friendly and knowledgeable. I decided to go with Chosen Rooter & Plumbing because of his customer service. They sent someone out immediately too, and Ron was a pleasure. He ended up doing a lot of work (my request) and his customer service was also excellent. I'm pretty happy to say that I've found my go-to plumber and I'll definitely be calling them again.

Daniel at Chosen Rooter and Plumbing is great and finally got to the bottom of a leak from our breezeway into the garage that no one else seemed to be able to deal with. He replaced a bunch of wacky leaky pipe work super quickly and efficiently and even unclogged a sink while he was at it! He was able to come out right away and was super nice and professional, as was his partner. I would use him again in a heartbeat and definitely recommend!

I would give CR&P 10 stars for the service! I was lucky to find CR&P from their website and requested the service to resolve a clogged drain issue. Dannik helped me to resolve the issue and was available for the specific time that I requested. Ron from CR&P was very professional, wore a mask and cleaned the drain area after he used the snake. I really appreciated for a quick response time and for the ability to solve the drain problem on the same day. The CR&P staff is very professional, knowledgeable, and reliable.
