  5 stars is not enough! Hiring a plumber can be a scary thing. Considering the cost, reliability, length of job, the cost, professionalism, the cost 🙂 and also the cost there is a lot to worry about. CALYPSO eliminates those concerns. I started this review last week when I called the owner Steve (great, honest guy) he sent one of his top guys, John, out the next morning. John came out to repair a toilet shut off valve but never submitted. He came and made that fix and checked on the other bathrooms to make sure they were running well. Made the extra effort to see what he could find in his truck to lessen our cost, he answered every question in layman's terms. I watched many videos on youtube from plumbers who think only other plumbers watch their videos. Didn't understand much. John was smart, patient and efficient. This week, we had an associated emergency when the hot water tank went out. I immediately called Steve and he was able to send his lead tech out, Ryan. Ryan came in with Connor and the two of them replaced the water tank but didn't stop there. In effort to make sure the job was done right, Ryan went through the house to make sure the water pressure was set correctly. Plumbers are expensive but the value and care you get with Calypso has been unmatched in my experience. I highly recommend!

  Based on the amazing reviews I found, we contacted Calypso plumbing. Fist of all, we were overcharged. On the phone we were quoted $250 to snake 1 drain, and $89 for each additional drain. We were charged $600 for snaking only 1 drain. We told them on the phone that we wanted a camera ran through, they said the camera will be on the truck. When they arrived, they said they did not bring the camera. We told them we needed to some sort of cap or seal on the pipe. They put some weird goo on it. They told us to make another appointment for running the camera and to get a real cap put on it. We have been calling them for 3 weeks to make a new appointment. No one will return the calls, even after promising that they’ll call back. Now we have to find a new plumber and start everything all over again.

  Came out to replace T&P valve on tankeless water heater. after they replaced twice it continued to leak. they then had me instal $700 worth of extras to fix the problem. the problem continued. they then avoided my calls for weeks until they finally came out and said they would contact the MFG rep of my water heater to get me a solution. 3 weeks and several calls later they never contacted me. they have charged me over $1800 to fix the problem and the problem is not fixed and they are no longer helping or communicating with me. i would urge anybody considering them to stay away.
