  I would not recommend this plumber. He sold me and installed a water heater that broke 18 months later. When I called him he stated there was nothing he could do and to call the manufacturer. Tom stated that this is a known problem with the manufacturer and he has been getting calls for replacement about 30% of the time. The manufacturer has a 2 year labor and 6 year parts warranty. The manufacturer could not get a plumber out to fix the problem for 6 days. 6 days during January with children is unacceptable to not have hot water. I called Tom and explained the situation. I stated that he needed to stand behind the products he sells, come fix the water heater so my family could at least have hot running water and we can talk to the manufacturer about reimbursement. Tom refused, stated he would not come fix the problem without charging me $150. I don't believe this is a man (business) of integrity and I will never use his business again. I believe this account shows that if you are ever in a situation outside the ordinary with Briggs plumbing they will chose the easy and self-serving option over what is right.

  Briggs replaced a 50 gallon gas water heater in my home. Service was on time and a good price ($800 less than a competitor). For no extra charge he also placed a pan with an attached drain pipe under the water heater, replaced a gas valve and Installed new copper pipe to connect the water heater to the water supply. I will be calling again whenever I need plumbing service. I’ve been over charged by Dan Wood for the last time!

  Tom and his son came over off hours, charged me what was fair, and did it as quickly as possible. Even my dog loved them. He's experienced and a good person. Call him first!
