THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!! DO NOT CALL USE THEM IF YOU HAVE A HOME WARRANTY!!!!!!! I had a BNK PLUMBER come to my home due to temperature in hot water being inconsistent and not working properly. Not even half way through filling up a bath the water goes from hot to lukewarm. The guy showed up at 11am and was done by 11:20am, he checked the temperature on my water heater and was done stating, “it’s up to temp, I did my test.” He filled up the five gallon bucket a few times with a thermometer. I said is there any other tests you can do, or maintenance? He wasn’t having it, he said it’s up to temp I did my test.” He refuse to do anything other test or check the sediment as I suggested, he was in a rush to leave. He then said, “it’s is an old water heater, from 1995, but we have to wait for it to FAIL COMPLETELY in order to replace it.” I told him,” so you admit it’s old, and you admit that it’s going to fail, but will not replace it?” He said that’s how American Home Shield works. So I have to wait for my basement to flood from it bursting or leaking? He said, “most of the time it’ll just start out with a small leak so you should be okay.” DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH BNK PLUMBING!!! Call a professional instead.

Phil from this family owned business is BEYOND RUDE and disgusting. I have American home shield and had a leak. I had to go back and forth between him and American home shield because he refused to help me unless American home shield contacted him. That's fine, I understand there are rules. He said the technician would be there before 5 pm...but most likely at 3pm because of the schedule and they would notify me 30 minutes before arriving. I advised him that my husband worked 30 minutes away and to prevent the plumber from waiting To give me like an hour notice. He said ok. Phil called me and messaged me at 12:20 pm saying that the technician was on the way. I asked what the eta was...we live in grayslake, he said the tech was in Buffalo grove. I let my husband know that and he rushed to get there. Phil proceeds to call me and threaten to cancel the appointment because "I'm being inconsiderate of their time" I asked to speak to a manager and he said "this is a family owned business and I'm as high up as you're going to get." Very rude and disgusting individual. I attached the text messages sent. For a family owned business this is so unfortunate that this is how they operate. Phil canceled the visit as well and did not complete any work at all.

I have a home warranty service. The first time my tub wasn't draining. The used a snake, ruined the glazing on our cast iron tub. & then they said the main sewer pipe was plugged & had to have a wall busted out for repair. This made no sense as all the other 7 drains in the house worked perfectly. A union plumber website suggested filling our bathroom sink & with the pressure from hi to low, the obstruction would most likely pop out. Presto. BNK costed us $1000 to reglaze the tub & lost our deductible to them through the warranty company. Had to call warranty company again as the hot water for second floor was foul rotten egg smelling. We have 2 hot water heaters. 1 tank for each floor. Quick Google of the Plumber Association said simple fix though plumber needed. A different plumber came out from BNK per my request. This guy said he never heard of an anode rod (The hot water heater was replaced in 2019) plus he never heard of the option of putting bleach in the tank to kill off bacteria. His final report? We had water quality issues so it was not fixable? I suggested that common sense would suggest the water quality could not be the issue because the cold water on both floors plus the hot water on the first floor had no odors & we only had 1 city supplied water main coming into the 2 flat. I would never recommend them. They apparently have no clue to the basics of plumbing.
